Hotel du Parc is every bit as grand when you get there as it appears in the photos. (Sometimes, hotels from this era can look a bit jaded in real life.) It is well maintained, beautifully furnished, and the rooms have genuine history, with famous people having stayed there. We dined in the hotel's restaurant and were not disappointed: the cuisine and service were excellent. So the hotel actually exceeded our expectations. And there's free parking on site, too.

The hotel is absolutely fine. Thann is kind of OK - a bit past its best, maybe. We chose Hotel du Parc because its location was a good stopover point, but wouldn't necessarily have chosen Thann for its own sake.

Careful, this is an old house. The bell to the reception desk didn't work, but they indicate a telephone number to reach the receptionist. The room was cold, the heating did not respond. My shower in the morning was cold although I let the water run for a while, too long for what an ecological mind would find correct. It got warm enough (although not really hot) after I had finished my shower. Didn't dare wash my hair. The receptionist said, this was an old house, no way to renovate the pipes, they would have to tear the whole house down. Well, but it wants to be a French high level fancy hotel. An experience. A certain standard. You know. I don't know what to say..., except: Yes, French indeed.

A beautiful last minute booking. The hotel exceeded our expectations both in comfort and friendly staff. Lovely garden and on site free parking. The hotel is filled with gorgeous artworks, furnishings and eclectic items. So refreshing to stay in a hotel with personality and not furnished from an ikea catalogue. Bed was so comfortable, good size room and bathroom. Great selection for breakfast; bread was warm and the nicest I have ever tasted. All served in a gorgeous dining room. Impossible to fault, we absolutely loved this hotel, ticked all the boxes for us.

We stayed here in early September as part of a self-guided biking holiday with a group of friends. This is an exceptional & sophisticated accommodation in an elegant old home with history and grace. The staff were excellent. The home itself was stunning, and the dining room was regal & so beautiful. Breakfast was exceptional. The three course dinner was sensational, staff were attentive & service was excellent. The grounds are beautiful, serene and inviting. There is ample space & outdoor seating areas to enjoy the outside, including having coffee or tea or aperitifs. Our room was elegant, and we had the bonus of a terrace overlooking the grounds. Overall, this was an amazing place to stay at and beyond what one would expect. The ambiance of this gorgeous place and staff cannot be captured by just describing it! You have to stay here to understand its elegance.

Nothing - it was an amazing stay

The location is great. Placed in the proximity of a grocery shop, train station, 5 min from the town center and close to many hiking trails.

The room was a bit too small, the bed filled it up. Though the bathroom was clean in general, the shower was a bit dirty in the corners.

Atmosphère XIXes with design. The quietness of the residents and the personnel. The clothes of the maidservant

The details that must be for reaching the perfection …sure these will comes with the next 4 star quotation and “ pertinent advices “. Encouragements to the staff !

The garden was nice but not taken care very well. If you put flowers you should take care of them.

Reception choose us wine and price of bottle was 48 € and I think that it was too much without telling price (or giving wine list) when you are in winery area in France.

Very nice hotel, in an amazing charming house Rooms are big, we had a terrace with a view on the garden Breakfast was excellent, with local products, in the beautiful room of the restaurant

Since we stayed only one night, we couldn’t t use the wellness because it has to be prepared 2 h before

The hotel itself is in a very beautiful building. The garden is big and very peaceful. The restaurant ambience truly brings you back in time and makes you feel great!

Prices of the restaurant were a tad bit higher.

Beautiful and serene, staff were so friendly, the food was delicious….just perfect. The village of Thann was just a few minutes away and a lovely place to stroll and shop.

That we couldn’t stay forever!
