The hotel is beautiful. A rustic, traditional style building but with modern facilities and decor that complement it. Absolutely perfect location, on one edge of the old town so you step outside the front entrance onto a convenient parking area (closed on Thursday for the weekly market so beware of this!). Step outside the rear entrance straight onto a lovely courtyard and right inside the old town. Could not be a more perfect location. We had one of the smaller rooms on the top floor but still plenty of space for us as a couple with our luggage. Exceptionally clean throughout, comfortable bed, good shower and ample storage for clothes etc. No fan or aircon which I initially was worried about, but opening the window sufficed in August. I'm not sure if any of the rooms have a balcony, however the building itself has a common balcony with seats on floor 2 & 3, plus the courtyard as mentioned.

Nothing at all

The location is fabulous, right in the heart of the beautiful village. The room was typically Alsatian and spacious with a recently updated shower room. The hotel offered a beef bourguignon fondue which was delicious and really good value. Breakfast was good and plentiful.

Veronique was extremely helpful during our stay, but less so afterwards. Unfortunately I left a bag in the room. Completely my fault, I should have thoroughly checked the room before leaving. Veronique confirmed she had found the bag and she agreed to send it onto me. I offered to send her the money for postage before she sent it. 3 times I contacted her and each time she said she would send it. But sadly she never did.

Amazing little hotel in a beautiful historic building just a couple of steps from the main entrance gate to Turckheim. The host is fun and friendly and will do whatever she can to make your stay a great one. My room (nr 21) was a good size, comfortable and the bathroom was huge! There was even a good view out the bathroom window. I had the breakfast which was very tasty, with many options and several homemade products. All in all a great stay!

Some sound travels between the rooms.

Gorgeous quaint hotel, great position next to the gorgeous cobbled village centre. Superb bed, we honestly slept like babies in room 14. The welcome was fantastic and we opted to have breakfast which we highly recommend, an excellent spread with pastries, fruit, cereal, boil your own eggs, fresh bread, jams and cheeses and homemade preserves.

Everything was fabulous.

The location was great for visiting the beautiful town. The hotel was just right, with typical French furnishings. We had a huge bed which was good for my husband who is tall. The bathroom has been updated and was lovely with 2 wash basins and a walk-in shower. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast was great with plenty of choice. We were able to park our motorbike outside. There is a restaurant but I would recommend booking in advance, it's a busy town. We would have liked to have stayed longer but our next hotel was already booked.

Nothing to dislike.

I was welcomed in the most friendly way and helped to my room with my case. Madame was very friendly. Breakfast was exceptional and in an interesting room. The hotel was less than five minutes from the bus stop and the train station. I felt very secure in this hotel. I was going out at 10pm to follow the nightwatchman tourist tour and returned at 11.15pm. I was given the key code when I arrived. The wifi is excellent. Wonderful restaurant next door.

We were pleased with our one-night stay at Hotel Berceau Du Vigneron. Our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough. The wifi worked well; we did not take breakfast. The location of the hotel, essentially in the center of the old town area, is perfect. Parking was not a problem, with free parking provided within a short walking distance (200-300 meters) of the hotel. Finally, the price was reasonable.

One could hear sounds in adjacent rooms.

Good location in the beautiful old town. There are plenty of free parking spaces, restaurants and a bakery in the area. The hotel is in an old building but in good condition. Some of the furniture is a bit old but it is very clean and well maintained. The owner is very nice and helpful.

The WiFi is weak and not constant.

Very hospitable owner. A beautiful small historic town. Usually B and B only. But owner sometimes does evening meals. Plenty of nearby restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Good walks nearby, a small but v.good war museum wine tasting and winery tours.

The location is great. Near the center but still quiet. Clear instructions on check-in. Nice hostess. Overall just a good comfy room

It takes a long time for the shower to get warm, but the temperature is good once it gets there. Just a bathtub and a showerhead. No way to stand or hang the showerhead. So we had to sit in the bathtub holding the shower over our head. Mattress was a bit thin.
