If you want to explore Alsace, this has to be your base. The town is beautiful but not crowded, so you can go out and come back any time without the traffic jam of the main towns around. Is 10 minutes driving from Colmar and an hour approx from Strasbourg and Basel. Now the apartment will give you the feeling of living a French live, with friendly bakery just 20 meters of your street, wines all around and secure to walk any time. The owner will make you feel that he is there any time you need help or have a question about. Definitely my favorite this vacations!

Amazing apartment in amazing Ammerschwihr. We were looking for something unique and we found it. AUX DEUX CIGOGNES was cozy, clean and well equipped. The bed was large and comfortable. The apartment was in a really old building with a unique atmosphere. the view from the window in the morning! The village is beautiful and peaceful with many medieval buildings, you can take a walk through the hills and vineyards. It is an excellent base for exploring the nearest Alsatian towns.

The house is very well equiped, in a very nice area near the vineyards and very close to other villages and cities. Quiet, clean and comfortable. Nice view to the tower. Fantastic!

The only problem was the wifi connection. We never had it (nor TV). the host told us that there was a problem with the box and it would yake days to fix it so I guess we were not lucky but it should be fixed now.

Lovely old house, nicely renovated, comfortable flat. Super quiet at night, we really had a relaxing stay there. The village is lovely, two bakeries are very close providing berakfast :-)

Lovely apartment in a beautiful town, 15 min drive or 30 min on bus to Colmar. Lots of local wineries. Easy to check in and out

The small village is absolutely delightful, as is the view. The house is old and charming, the apartment is large and well equipped. Gilles was very friendly and communication was quick and pleasant. The traditional food that they offered was delicious. We would stay here again.

The apartment wasn't dirty, but it wasn't really clean either. Like the fridge, which needed a thorough wipe, or some quite concerning sticky spots on the floor in a dark corner next to the bed, which by their placement made me think of bodily fluids - not that I have any certainty in this matter. Might be an exception, since everything else was clean. Also, some doors and the shower head might become a slight inconvenience for taller people.

Cozy and calm appartment in the very center of the old town. Nest choice if you look for the real, not touristic, Alzace.

Ammerschwihr is a tiny village set in beautiful countryside. Sadly for us was a little too quiet - no restaurants open on a Saturday night! Luckily the supermarket wasn't too far from the apartment

This could be a brilliant place to stay but it's looking a little dated. Not the cleanest place we stayed in, the filter above the cooker needs to be cleaned. Lots of grease and dust.

The location was excellent. Near to the vine route in a beautiful little town.

Unfortunately it wasn’t clean. I had to remove first the spider webs.
