Everything was simply wonderful at Marcia’s place 😊! We weren’t expecting breakfast, but boy what a treat her breakfasts are 😋! All homemade, handmade and from fresh organic products, locally sourced. She totally spoiled us. Marcia is also a very friendly and attentive host, with lots of information about things to do in the area.

We very much enjoyed our stay with Marcia and Victor. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the balcony was quite relaxing. Marcia was very gracious to help us with the French language and all our questions over a very good breakfast. We enjoyed the leisurely walks down the stream and in short proximity to town. We would not hesitate to recommend and will surely be back in the future.

I was so happy with this gem of a bed and breakfast that I found in Kaysersberg! It was beautifully decorated, quiet, with wonderful views, and the host/owner Marcia is so generous and kind! I felt very welcomed. Marcia went out of her way to make my stay special, including providing an absolutely delicious breakfast with gluten-free and dairy-free options. :) There was a lovely Belgian couple staying there also who had been coming back every year for many years. I can see why... Marcia's place is a rare find that really makes your vacation special. It's located perfectly to tour the Alsace Wine Region. One of my favorite parts of my trip was my daily walk along the magical riverside path that winds it's way down into Kaysersberg from Marcia's bed and breakfast. I would highly recommend Marcia Donatti's A l'Ombre des Coteaux Sao Paulo to anyone who is looking for an amazing vacation experience.

There was no dedicated room for the luggage, but it is a minor issue that did not impair our stay.

Exceptional breakfast with home-made bread, jams and cookies. Good coffee. The hostess was very friendly and attentive. A good location for hiking in the region: several walking routes are in the direct proximity of the accommodation. The studio apartment is well equipped and has a cozy balcony with view on the forest.
