We had a wonderful stay at Hôtel de la Couronne and I would especially like to thank Maciej for his exceptional kindness and hospitality. He helped us with everything we needed, resolving an issue quickly and with great care. His warm attitude truly lifted our spirits — something that meant a lot to me during this special trip with my mother to such a charming town. We were given a spacious room with a lovely view, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious — especially the freshly baked croissants. The whole atmosphere was cozy, welcoming, and full of character. I warmly recommend this place and will gladly return!

The location is superb, right in Riquewihr and you step into the main street very close by. The room was fairly comfortable if a bit quirky/interesting, which is understandable given the building's age. Parking is on-site and given the location, it's an excellent feature.

No tea and coffee facilities in the room. The age of the building(s) is both good and bad. Bad that the facilities are restricted (e.g. the bathroom was compact), but good that it's unusual and is consistent with the rest of Riquewihr's buildings.

Staff were very good; showed us to the room and were friendly in the bar later and the next morning. Room was clean and reasonably modern. Fan was provided against the heat, which was appreciated. Good location in the very centre of the village and reasonable value for money too.

It was a small room and really quite hot (it was a hot evening). Noise outside was disturbing, so we had to shut the window eventually. Not their fault, but I don't like paying a taxe de séjour (tourist tax).

Brilliant location. You really cannot be any more central in Riquewihr. Plenty of parking also, although it took two attempts to find as we arrived later than expected at a time when the town was thronged with people. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast, which was fine for our needs , at €15.

Overall I liked it. Would have been nicer with air con rather than a fan, but the owners have done a great job in bringing a multi-century old property in to a bustling hotel, and I realise that the age of the building impacts some of what they can do.

Lovely hotel, first floor was the lowest. So only one set of stairs for my hubby. Nice spacious room, dog friendly and parking. We opted for the Express breakfast which was at the bar (selected on arrival - extra) ideal as we were with our dog. Beautiful village and this hotel is right in the centre. We were travelling in April, restaurants close early! Something to be aware of.

A very good location right in the middle of Riquewihr, with a large parking lot. The staff was kind and gave us recommendations for good places to eat that could also accommodate a vegetarian like myself. We made use of the express breakfast so we could leave early in the morning, which was very convenient.

There is not a lot of natural light in the room, but other than that the room was great!

Hotel with its old charm has a unique atmosphere, nicely reconstructed, well maintained and very clean. Very helpful staff and (of course) great selection of Alsatian wines.

Would be nice to have better variety for breakfast, at least some vegetables, maybe a sausage…

A charming and beautiful old place in the old town of Riquewihr. The rooms were clean, the beds were very comfortable. The staff were amasing too.

The parking place near the hotel was not easy to find, as you have to pass a no entry traffic sign. We had to get some help from the staff, however their instructions were easy to follow. Also it is a old buiding without lift, but the stairs were easy to climb.

Our room was spacious and clean, with very welcomed aircon ! The parking next door is a definite plus too if you have luggage ! Very comfortable.

Watch out if you travel with heavy luggage : some rooms are way up under the roof and the staircase to get there is quite narrow. The staff gladly helps if you ask though

It didn’t start well. I’d booked a basic room but when we saw it we were so disappointed. The city view comprised just a view of a roof. The room was tired, particularly the bathroom and cramped . It was hot as it was under the eaves and the aircon didn’t work because the extraction tube couldn’t reach the window without making it impossible to get into bed. Staff kindly moved us at no charge to a bigger lovely room overlooking the quaint street below but I’d advise anyone booking to choose their room carefully and consider booking a better room. The on site parking was a huge bonus and we appreciated the express breakfast as an alternative to the large buffet. Great location in town, lovely staff and highly recommended

Not a fault of the hotel but we struggled to find somewhere to eat on a Wednesday night in high season. A number of those suggested by the hotel were closed for holidays and others routinely close on Wednesday nights. We finally ate at L’ écurie which was excellent but booking was essential and a number who hadn’t were disappointed
