Uzes is a lovely town and this hotel is located in the best place to explore. The room was beautiful - very spacious and several windows to let fresh air in. The staff is what makes the hotel exceptional. Loic was so warm and friendly, answered our many questions and provided above and beyond service ! The breakfast staff were also exceptional and their breakfast buffet was amazing !

The only minor complaint is the bathroom sink was difficult for us as we like to fill the sink to soak clothes. It is a fancy sink. On the plus side, the shower was great !!

We were allocated a really great room with a small outside seating area which added an extra layer of enjoyment and luxury to our stay. Also the staff are really lovely - welcoming, friendly and very responsive to any requests. And last but not least, a really delicious continental breakfast.

Coffee at breakfast tends to be served warm, rather than hot, so if you like your coffee hot let your server know and they will happily arrange that for you.

Great location. Beautiful town. Very helpful front of house staff. Nice big clean rooms. Good public parking nearby.

Breakfast was good but staff service a bit hit and miss. Cereals available but had to ask every day for milk(!). Coffee machine but no cups so you had to wait for an ordered coffee. Good choice but could be made more perfect with little effort. Be brilliant if they could create a little bar in the ground floor space for pre and post dinner drinks! Pool was an added luxury but quite small and very busy late afternoons.

The location was fantastic. Right opposite the cathedral with a great view of the tower from the pool. Very close to the heart of Uzès with shops, restaurants, patisseries and markets! The staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was great. The air conditioning was good and much needed during the heat in August.

The breakfast was good, however for the price we payed I felt like it could have been better. The pastries were quite dry and didn’t feel fresh. The water for the tea was always a bit lukewarm.

The The location and the building.

Breakfast was lacking in imagination - no baguettes and cold milk for cereals not readily available. Given the age and structure of the building we were not surprised by the tiny bathroom but the loo paper was single ply and pink; the only toiletries provided were small soaps and shower gel in a wall mounted dispenser. Towels for the pool were provided but no facilities for drying or discarding them after use. And we both wonder who though misshapen pebbled made good soap holders!

Beautiful location in the center of Uzes, we were given a room that was directly on the pool with frosted windows, which we were not a fan of. The staff was super accommodating and managed to give us another room and ended with a quiet room with gorgeous view of the Évêché. Staff was lovely during our stay, room was bright, quiet and bathrooms was clean and well appointed. The little pool area was as great way to cool off during the middle of the day. Hotel is beautiful and would stay there in a heart beat!

We were upgraded on arrival, which was a great start to our stay. Fabulous suite. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff were superb. Car parking was perfect, albeit at extra cost. The breakfast was great. Very civilised.

Excellent location with nice view to Catherdral, small but comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Nice pool - especially as it was very hot when we visited and few places had a pool. Lovely old building and we used the rooftop space to enjoy a bottle of wine overlooking the view.

Breakfast buffet was fairly basic and it would have been nice to be able to eat breakfast a little later. I like to have a sleep in while on holiday! Limited space and limited seats at pool.

The location was perfect...it was so central to our needs. The room was lovely, and the views were exceptional. The hotel was quiet...we never heard a thing from any other rooms. The staff were so helpful and so incredibly friendly....their English was way better than our French...which we appreciated. We loved that the whole experience and visit was so originaly french ..would most definitely visit again.

There is virtually nothing we didn't like. There is no resident bar or restaurant, but we did appreciate that the town offers plenty of that. Our bathroom was small and steamed up really easily, and we couldn't find a switch for a fan. Tea and coffee were only topped up at a cost after the first day....I would have expected a 4 star hotel to have that complimentary. I've been in cheaper hotels that provided that and water at no cost. But that said...I'd still go back as it was a beautiful hotel.

Uzes is a cute town and the hotel is in an excellent location and setting- both location and decor The staff on reception and breakfast were very helpful and the welcome information was very useful.

The aircon wasn't working to cool the room the first night but was working the second as the hotel had switched from winter to summer mode. It would have been good to have been told this. The towel rail heater did not work consistently. There was no active ventilation in the bathroom other than a small opening window.
