Fabulous hotel in fantastic location. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough for everything..do not overlook it when looking for a short or long break in Nimes. Situated on a beautiful square with bars & restaurants and within minutes walking distance to the many must see sights of The Arena (amphitheater) and Maisie Carree. I’m glad I booked the Superior double room as it had 2 sets of floor to ceiling double doors leaving out onto a small balcony and fab to sit out for morning sun and evening entertainment getting ready (room 209!). We will definitely be back to Squsre Hotel thank you and will recommend to our families to book when they plan to visit.

Lovely traditional French hotel with all mod cons. Superb location, minutes from the train station, the Arena and restaurants, cafes, bars but on a pretty and quiet little square. Very clean and comfortable with access to a lovely rooftop terrace where you can have breakfast. Breakfast was typically French - basic but more than adequate. I had booked the small internal room but didn't realise it looked out onto a wall. I mentioned it to reception and they moved me the next day when one of the rooms with views to the square became available. I really appreciated this. Overall a great stay and I'd stay there again especially on account of how they dealt with this.

The location was perfect central to everywhere and very easy access to the train station. Key code for late entry , restaurants and sights very close by. Staff were very helpful even though we have pigeon French and one member of staff had excellent English some have limited English I could not fault their attention to detail and explanations and helpfulness. Rooms were spotless double with a balcony looks out over the square.

I would have booked the superior room, only for some additional.space the rooms are exactly as described and are very comfortable.

I liked the outside balcony and the location was perfect for a concert at Nimes arena, just a 5 minute walk back to the hotel. It was quiet after the restaurants in the square closed and they are very good restaurants. The aircon was good in the heatwave. Breakfast was simple but OK and the terrace is lovely. Worth the price.

My door code stopped working when I returned back from a concert at the Nimes arena. Think it might have been due to an earlier city power outage, but was resolved by a security person on an intercom

Nice 3 star hotel on quiet square, well located for the train station and near the main attractions of Nime. Breakfast served on fourth floor with small breakfast room and attractive fourth floor terrace overlooking rooftops of Nimes (we didn't get full benefit of this visiting in November but sure it is lovely in the summer). Lounge downstairs so you can sit and plan. Staff didn't speak much English but friendly and helpful. Clean and quiet. A good value hotel for short stay. Sent useful information about Nimes through before our visit.

Breakfast is a bit limited and not sure it is worth the money.

The hotel is only a five minute walk from the SNCF station and two minutes from the arena and old town. The staff were friendly, and the hotel was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was great value at only 10 euros, and my 7 year old son ate for free. They also have a lovely rooftop terrace for breakfast, which would be great in hot weather.

Our room (108) was too far from the hotel router, meaning we had a non-existent Internet connection. But everywhere else was fine

A very nicely located and comfortable little hotel with a very good breakfast. I particularly liked the choice of light colour in rooms and the breakfast terrace. Perfect for a day or two in passage.

There were no stickers on the glass window in the breakfast room and I hit my head hard against the glass and nearly broke my nose! They should put some stickers! Sadly, there was not much concern by the hotel management. Only the African lady who served breakfast showed some empathy and brought ice. If I was the manager, I would offer some comfort to a guest in such a situation of stress and pain, and would not charge for that night, or whatever. But, business is business!

The room was fantastic! The bed was comfortable and there were many pillows that had were awesome. The bathroom was big and the shower had great water pressure and it was also really big with a rain showerhead. The window opened if I needed air. There was a nice little fridge in the room and a kettle to make tea or coffee with the provided tea and powdered coffee. My view looked onto a plaza but it wasn't noisy. There is a nice wardrobe to store my clothes and a good place to put my suitcase. There was nice temperature control in the room to keep the temperature exactly the way I liked.

The cups that I used in the room were not replaced with clean cups from a dishwasher. They were just rinsed and left in my room. They weren’t even that clean. The breakfast was mediocre. The eggs were cold. The bread wasn’t fresh from the bakery and it was cold. The coffee wasn’t that great.

The hotel is very modern, clean and comfortable. Everything needed was included, even a kettle. Free Wi- Fi, comfortable beds, nice shower. It is situated in the city centre, you can have breakfast in the hotel or in the caffès nearby. The only aspect you need to know is that the stuff doesn’t speak English. It was quite hard to communicate without knowing French, we had to use online translator. But, anyway, the receptionist helped us a lot, so Merci pour tout.

The hotel has no arrangement with any Parking garage, so they refer you to Indigo Parking, which is across the street but it is very expensive especially if you stay two nights, Eur24.80 p/day - the parking bays are very small. We found a cheaper Parking garage (Parking Halles, Rue des Halles), about 700m from the hotel which cost Eur12.50 p/day - the parking bays are a lot more spacious. Even though we requested our room to be serviced the second day, it was not serviced.
