We loved this hotel, it retains all its old features and was lovely and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely and fresh and the owners very friendly and helpful

A beautiful hotel with elegant furnishings: we had a very spacious room and luxurious bathroom. Breakfast was exceptional, served in elegant surroundings. Nothing was too much trouble. The pool was lovely on a warm afternoon after a long train journey.

An exceptional building - an art Deco gem. We have stayed in few finer buildings. Very convenient for walking into the centre of Nimes and the many restaurants. The room(s) were spacious Yves was a charming host.
VeryWe didn't bring a hair dryer - and I didn't know how to ask for one (very slowly) in French! Breakfast is very good, and personally served by Yves. There is no restaurant for meals at other times.(the brass plaque at the entrance says "Restaurant") Other than that, no complaints.

lovely period detail; rooms well decorated; terrace overlooking “period pool” and established garden. 5 minute walk to the Arena and the train station.
perhaps a little noisy with background noise trains if that would bother you. No facility to make tea or coffee.

The characterful historic property in a very central location with charming, attentive staff and delicious breakfast.
I'm glad I was not hoping to swim in the pool.

An absolutely beautiful house and gardens. The hosts were amazing. The breakfast was fantastic and sat in a gorgeous room with fine china, surrounded by wonderful art work and ceramics. Having a pool in the garden was just the icing on the cake!
This stay was perfect and we will, hopefully, be revisiting.

Beautiful old building, walled garden and gorgeous swimming pool. You were in a peaceful paradise in the middle of the city.
No tea/coffee making facilities or somewhere to get a drink.

A beautiful, original, grand house in a secret walled garden - what’s not to like.
Unfortunately, there were roadworks while we were there.
