Great location. Literally opposite the bus & train station. Car park a bit complicated as it’s the next block to the hotel. Find the car park first. Park inside the bay( signposted Ibis) then walk to hotel who issue you a ticket. Then you walk underneath and up to door not far from the hotel. The staff are great. There is a lovely complimentary water( with citrus or mint) in reception and you can fill your bottles. Rooms are good. Shower good. Easy walk through the station to the arena and bars & restaurants. Breakfast was the best on our trip. Great scrambled eggs, bacon and usual pastries, bread cheese & meat etc with lots of fruit options too. Will definitely return.

Could do with parking explanation a bit clearer but that was the only negative.

My wife and I stayed in this hotel twice in eight days for three nights en route to Madrid, so I am writing a summary review for both stays. For rail travellers like us, the hotel is fantastically convenient - just a minute's walk from the (rear entrance) of Nimes Centre station, and ten minutes' walk from the town centre. The staff at reception and at breakfast are very pleasant. The rooms are fine, and you can open the window. The beds are comfortable, and quite large, and the showers are efficient. The breakfast is excellent. The hotel is good value for money.

On our first stay, in our room the toilet door handle was broken, as was the foot pedal on the waste bin, and the plug in the basin did not work. The corridors in the hotel are also very scruffy. This hotel must be a gold mine (I have rarely been in such a busy breakfast room), so why not spend a bit more to maintain standards?

Really convenient for exploring Nimes and so close to the station so ideal for connecting to onward journeys. Having said so close to the station it was a quiet and comfortable stay. Of particular note was staff member Eloise who made our stay exceptional with her smile, demeanour and assistance to exploring Nimes

Not a dislike, but could have promoted more that food was available in the evening and a small bar area available to guests

A big Thank you to Samantha and JP for ensuring our stay was awesome. We highly recommend the upper floor rooms as they have been freshly painted and light filled with views. Ibis Nimes is conveniently located across from the main train station and has great access to local connections and attractions. Rooms and public areas are clean and modern and setup well for travellers on the go.

Great location right by train station but also 5-10 mins walk to busy streets, restaurants and the arena. Welcoming staff, comfortable room.

Nothing really! I guess I could say that breakfast(which was continental: bread, pastries, cheese, fruit) was quite busy and chaotic (eg queue for coffee, no plates!) - but that may have been our timing.

Breakfast quite good - cereal, fresh fruit, bread etc but bacon very dried up. Evening set meal delicious. The location was excellent and though opposite the station, was not noisy. Shower excellent. Parking very convenient in public car park very close by.

Room very basic. No tourist info on show anywhere. Combined shower gel & shampoo.

Difficult to access drop off using sat nav. Car park access not great Long walk to restaurant and during a four night stay restaurant wasn’t avail due to tour groups. Having said that food wasn’t great

Amazing breakfast. Room comfortable, easy to access and check in, location good for the train station but also only a short walk to the centre of town. All-round a very pleasant stay.

Key card kept stopping working which was annoying to discover when you get back to your room on the 4th floor.

Very good location (I arrived by train) with handy bar and restaurant. Room was air-conditioned, bed comfortable and with all expected facilities. Breakfast was good. Staff were really excellent.

A bit of routine maintenance would not go amiss but this is not enough to change my overall opinion of the hotel.

Perfect location, both for Nimes central station and for buses, including the airport shuttle. A five minute pleasant pedestrian walk takes one up to the Arena and the historical centre. The breakfast included a great range of options, including fig bread, fresh stewed apples and freshly squeezed orange- it was included in the room rate and served from 6am which was very helpful for people travelling early.

I was very impressed by everything.
