Arnaud and Lise were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is comfortable and welcoming with a spacious library available to sit and read/relax. There are a number of terraces to enjoy a drink or lunch. Breakfast is special sitting in a sunny court yard. Generous and varied choice of foods. Restaurants on site supurb. Room generous size and I had a terrace roof garden with table /chairs and loungers. Pleasant to sit out in. Room had coffee maker and welcome treats on arrival. I would definitely recommend a stay over at this hotel. Just outside on the street are cool and popular bars, small fun and unique.

Charming updated hotel in a grand old building right in downtown Nimes. Walking distance to all the major sites and excellent restaurants. A very, enthusiastic (young) staff who is always ready to please. The bistro Gigi on site is excellent and good valued. Closest overnight underground parking is 5+ minute walking distance away and 25 Euro a day. The hotel is located in the pedestrian only zone. The hotel is well situated for exploring the Nimes area and a short drive to Pont-du-Gard.

The location of this hotel is phenomenon, as is its architecture, staff, cleanliness, and services. The attention to detail was exquisite: they noted we were traveling with a toddler and left a tent and fun toys in our room, together with a personalized hand written note, for example. The breakfast was SO good too. I can’t recommend this place enough and we look forward to going back.

It was absolutely perfect. The only thing I didn’t like is that we couldn’t spend more time there!

We had the presidential suite which was enormous and very comfortable, high ceilings gave it a sense of space and it was tastefully decorated in keeping with the age of the building. We don’t know if other rooms are like this. The hotel is in the pedestrianised centre of Nimes, close to many restaurants and shops as well as the arena and the Maison Carre. The staff are professional, friendly and helpful.

The room was amazing and restaurant Rouge was excellent.

We had a bath tub but unfortunately the hotel doesn’t include any bath salts or bath products and it took forever to fill in the tub because the water pressure was very low. We could’ve used a pair of slippers too. On arrival, a male staff helped us with the luggages but on departure they only had a female staff to help with the luggages so we opted not to get help instead. It would’ve been great if male staff is instead available to assist with the luggages as it’s quite a walk to the parking.

Everything except the lighting. Staff attention. Location.

They have issues with room 7 where we stayed. At night when you leave your room, no lights come on in the hall way, there are no light switches. You have to walk down five steps of the stairs before the light comes on and you are able to find your key and lock the door. You can obviously use your phone torch but this is not good. The room lightng was designed to create a mood. We needed light to be able to see things! Gregory very kindly brought two extra lights into our room but these were also mood lights and didn't make a difference. These comments relate to our room only. Other rooms had better hall lights. But this was our only complaint. Everything else was great.

Location is great to reach all sites by foot. Staff are friendly and able to help when they can.

The clearer could give more attention in detail, there was used contact lenses on the floor when we checked in and still there when we checked out. One of the rope had yellow stains which should not provided to customer. That'd mean the clearer didn't take as much attention as it should but it is relatively small issue. The other thing is the room we stayed(family room) seem news refurnished and the smell is really strong. If you are as sensitive as me or worse then not the best choice.

Everything! The staff are amazing, so helpful, so friendly and always professional. A special thank you to Luna and Aya for making our 40th wedding anniversary so special! From the amazing upgraded room, to your suggestions of places to visit, to the pastries, the fresh fruit and a special thank you to Luna, who carried our luggage up the stairs!! Although the restaurants were not open on our anniversary, we did eat at GIGI and everything was beautiful. Lots of lovely bars and restaurants close by and an amazing indoor food and drink market.

The staff was impeccable. Just so helpful and kind. They immediately upgraded us to an elegant suite several levels above what we'd booked for, and when we informed them that we had fallen ill, they helped us find a doctor and were very accommodating. We felt very lucky to be there and would book again in a heartbeat.

Nothing to dislike. This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful part of Nimes run with attention to every detail.

The hotel is in the centre of Nîmes and perfectly located for visiting the various historic sites in the city. It has a reasonably priced bistro as well as a first class restaurant.

Its status as a historic building means it wasn’t possible for a lift to be installed. Although it wasn’t a problem for us it may be to others.
