Great view from room, very comfy beds, nice and pool and outside hot tub. Had meal in hotel restaurant which was excellent. Breakfast following morning was also very good. Ideal location if you want to be outside of one of the main, more touristy areas of Ardeche.

TV did not work (no signal), sliding door to bathroom didn't work. Was very early in the season and hotel had very few guests midweek so could have easily changed room but was simply too tired after kayaking to bring it to their attention and just fell asleep.

Excellent stay. Very friendly ladies behind the desk and bar. Charismatic owner, ready to help. Beautiful location, lots of parking space. Clean spacious rooms. Large breakfast that runs till 11. Good, clean and entertaining pool area. Alot of activity in aalking distance. Will hopefully come back in the future!

Limited a la carte dining options so we opted to eat in town. Didnt bother us because we wanted to explore a bit anyway.

We were only there one night, but breakfast may of benefitted from freshly cooked options, but this is purely down to taste as what was available was more than enough.

Lovely location in terms of being 1 minutes walk to the rock arch over the Ardeche river. We are in on the first night and the food was good, the restaurant was shut the next night so we walked down the road and there are other places to eat there. Also handy for kayaking the Ardeche as it's a short walk from the hotel. Plenty of parking, breakfast was good and plentiful. A nice place overall.

Beautiful location with fantastic view from the room. Pont d'Arc is 10-15 min walk (paved walk way until the point one wants to descend to the river) or 20-25 min to the other side of the arch where on dirt road the access is less steep. Room was a bit small but we had a big balcony. It was too hot to for us to sit out from 3pm when the Sun shines under the overhead cover. It must be really pleasant in spring/autumn to enjoy the afternoon sun.

Aircon was too noisy. But fortunately the nights were already cool enough to keep the patio door open.

The staff were lovely. The location is amazing. We walked to some lovely restaurants and to the pont d'arc. When we stayed in the hotel the pool was beautiful and the hot tub was perfect at night. We enjoyed a dinner in the restaurant best tuna I have ever eaten!. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Great location very near the river and arch. Lovely large balcony with hot tub and view of mountains. Large room and huge bathroom. Customer service was very good. Our coffee maker was missing and we were being a bit ‘British’ and just moaning under our breath. When we did mention it the manager was mortified and replaced it immediately. Lovely view from the restaurant and good food. Good continental breakfast and lovely coffee.

No food served at lunchtime

One of the best locations in the Ardeche (practically next door to the Pont D'arc), yet considering it is in a very steep gorge the hotel manages to find space for a large car park, bike storage (we brought our bikes with us), an outdoor pool and deck, and an outdoor restaurant! Lots of the guests were either cycling or kayaking and Hotel Belvedere is perfectly placed for both - kayak hire was just across the road. The staff were all very friendly and helpful (excellent English spoken at reception); our room was small but well equipped (air conditioning was essential even in September), and with a balcony that overlooked the pool. The hotel restaurant served the nicest food we ate on our trip - the chef does a fantastic job - served on a lovely terrace surrounded by bamboo plants. Breakfast (charged extra) was served in the indoor conservatory restaurant that overlooks the river. We stayed for three nights and were very happy with our choice!

Hard to fault! The only thing I would like to have seen was tea/coffee making facilities in the room (but maybe that's just me being very British!!).

The restaurant was closed Tuesday evening in May, but a bistro close to the hotel was open. It lies 50 metres away
