Super location for visiting Vallon Pont d'arc. Outside balcony with mountain views. Really nice and helpful staff and a great pub just off site 100m up the road 😁

Cleanliness could be a little better.

the room was spacious, the check in was smooth although the receptionist was not there the instructions left for us were clear.

Nothing about the property itself just if you follow your GPS it may take you to the wrong spot. it happened to us and when we stopped to get directions we were told that we are not the fist one to ask.

The location was beautiful in the valley right off the river. The room was very spacious and the bed was super comfortable. The kitchen had the basics and it was a very quiet and peaceful resort.

We had a studio for six for the two of us so there was plenty of room. Shower room and fridge were excellent. Location by the Ardeche river is fabulous (but see below). Great for before breakfast and evening swims (though river bank is busy with canoes during the day). Walkable to Pont d'Arc. Next door restaurant is no longer Michelin starred so gives a lovely dining experience at a reasonable price. They have a very good special rate for 7 night bookings if you are prepared to do the cleaning

The kitchenette is inconvenient and a disaster waiting to happen - which it did on day 6 and cost us 150 euros from our deposit. Shops, and more important in France, bakeries are a drive away in Vallon. Welcome is not very friendly.

The location is very nice situated in the nature. We were lucky that the studio was river oriented.

The furnitures in the studio are old and crappy. Mostly the kitchen table and kitchen cabinets need to be replaced. And bathroom furniture detto. There is not really space for 5 persons already for 4 was tight.

The young ladies on the staff were friendly, there was one other slightly older lady which was not that friendly. The location was good close to the river with a nice restaurant and a small bar nearby (to be clear, not part of the hotel!).

As mentioned in other reviews, the photos do not match reality. If you select a studio for 2 adults, you get a very cramped sofa bed that is not suitable for sleeping. The 'detail selection' under 'availability' also shows pictures of beds and larger studios, which is fraudulous - I mentioned it and they said 'Yes, that's Booking's fault'. The sofa bed, which you have to assemble and make up yourself, takes up the entire space, making the studio extremely small. You cannot pass through to the terrace. You are expected to clean the space, as we were told upon arrival. We had to give a deposit of EUR 300, even though we stayed for only two nights. Howerver, we received an email stating that cleaning was included since we booked a short stay with the 'comfort package' for an additional fee. To ensure we got our EUR 300 back, we cleaned the place ourselves, which is not something you want to do on vacation. Additionally, you have to schedule an appointment for staff to check the cleanliness before departure, and you cannot check out before 9 AM. This all wastes valuable vacation time and causes unnecessary stress. We also had a significant problem with ants in the studio, coming from under the baseboards, not even through the exterior door. There was a musty smell in the hallway leading to the apartment, which has no windows. The white plastic extension on the faucets did not seem hygienic and is not shown in the photos. The photos in general are truly misleading. It's been two weeks since our stay, so I may have forgotten some points, but starting our vacation this way was very disappointing. Fortunately, we only booked for two nights.

the structure is nice in the nature, the location is tactical for the distance from the village and is perfect for the arrival of canoe, very close to the river but the the problem are others... and a lot. Same important as the other positive point: the great restaurant aside and several others not to far

a) the incompetence and very bad education*(as short description below) of the man at reception b) the apartment wasn't clean up in a proper way c) the exterior (Garden and Patio) was very dirty not cared d) the grass in front of the structure was alla burned and not cut since more then 2 weeks (we have pictures that can demonstrate this conditions) Also if we were able to accept all this because of the great location very functional, but the behaviour of the receptionist (The man! not the woman) make us very upset... as everybody, we parked in the front of the room to load and unload the luggage but we were strongly reprimanded with rudeness and arrogance telling us that the 10 min needed to load the car will kill the grass (funny considering the terrible and not cared conditions of the grass at that moment... and forget about the picture that you see on Booking... no deck-chair were available or in the grass). Moreover many other people has left the car for more then 24h on the grass but he didn't said nothing to them... the only difference was that: we are Italian meanwhile the others were France people! ATTENTION: this guy talked to us like we were his brothers, without even considering that we are adults over 50 and 60
