Vannes is not the easiest place to park a car, so the large car park that La Marabauière has is a real bonus. Staff were all very friendly and helpful (Valerie, Julie & Helen). The breakfast comprised a wide range of both continental & cooked items - very satisfying. We had booked a Comfort Double room, which turned out to be a bit on the small side in terms of storage space for the clothes that we had brought for our 5-night stay. We managed to compromise, but very helpul staff did show us the size of a family room which we noted for future reference,

Easy check in, staff friendly and courteous and very helpful in guiding us around where and what to visit ( Weekend not long enough with the history of this place) and eat in Vannes. The rooms are bright and airy, and the bed is really comfortable. Great position, just outside the town centre. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Tres Bon

The toilets in the rooms are perched on a step,so a bit of getting used to after a few red wines. Apart from that nothing at all.

We had a very relaxing stay at La Marebaudière. Check in was very easy. Staff very friendly and helpful. The room was bright and clean, with everything you would expect. The shower was excellent, the bed was enormous- and very comfy, and the WiFi was great. The car park was spacious and we had no problem parking. The hotel is in the centre of Vannes, within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. We have stayed here before and would certainly do so again. Thank you to everyone for making us feel so welcome.

Our bathroom was not great for my husband who has some mobility issues. To be fair, we had booked a garden room with shower but the Hotel notified us , a week before our trip, that they only had a garden room with a bath. I chose to go with that option.There were no rails to hold on to and the toilet was on a narrow raised platform, all making it more difficult for my husband.

We stayed at La Marebaudiere in August 2023 for a couple of nights whilst on a roadtrip down to Bordeaux. The hotel has it's own car park and is conveniently situated within easy walking distance of the main area of Vannes, including all the main tourist sites, restaurants and shops (between 5 and 15 mins to get to most places). The room was clean and tastefully decorated with good facilities, but only had a small velux window. This didn't bother us too much as we were out most of the time. The aircon was a little noisy and needs attention. Breakfast was a selection of hot and cold buffet food and was perfectly adequate for what we needed and there are so many restaurants just a short walk away. Ideal as a stopover if you're visiting Vannes for a couple of days and don't want to be right in the centre of town. Vannes itself is stunning and there is so much to see - would highly recommend!

Location is good, easy 20 minute walk into the centre of Vannes, although there are restaurants and bars nearby too. Parking was very easy. Bed was enormous and very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very quiet at night and we slept well. Breakfast buffet had lots of choices, including some excellent local cheeses.

Room was on the small side with very little storage space, and the toilet was on a raised platform which made it uncomfortable to use. For the price and star rating, air-con would have been a bonus although there was a fan in the room. We arrived at breakfast just after a tour group had left and there were lots of items missing, such as bread and eggs, which weren't replenished during the time we were there.

The hotel is a shortish walk from the town centre. There is ample free parking. The room was comfortable and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was relaxed. Also I received a 30 minute free sauna.

I received a number of fake emails apparently from the hotel before arrival. These turned out to be spam. I realise this is not the fault of the hotel. Otherwise no issues.

Great location for a few days visit of Vannes. Very friendly staff, the hotel was clean and well prepared. The lady that ran the breakfast room was lovely, she made sure that the breakfast was perfect. This lady really made our stay in Vannes very memorable.

Very clean and well appointed hotel, close to Vannes town centre,. The rooms are spacious and have comfortable beds. Good breakfast everybody catered for ( Nice chocolates at reception). The staff were very helpful, and friendly. Complimentary sauna fantastic after a long day exploring Vannes.

Room was clean and tidy. All staff friendly and helpful. Near to Vannes old town as planned for ease of walking. Good choice for breakfast, well laid out and lovely lady working very hard during breakfast service. All in all, a good, clean, central and friendly hotel, would definitely stay again.

Tea making facilities could be better with black tea and proper milk cartons offered. Only coffee or fruit tea bags in room, and very tiny cream cartons. Minor issue, but a service we like to use.
