Excellent stopover night at this hotel, from entering the building to leaving everything was fantastic, receptionist very polite and helpful, room was exceptionally big and clean, bed was very comfortable with no complaints, big bathroom, would definitely stop at this hotel again for a few days to discover more about Verdun, Verdun is a must place to visit, we went to the Sherlock pub for evening meal and drinks excellent place

Lovely small hotel at budget price. Welcomed by friendly and helpful English speaking receptionist who provided directions to find our evening meal in nearby Verdun. Large dual aspect family room with double and single beds, desk, chairs and TV. Huge bathroom with spacious shower. Spotlessly clean, comfy beds and plentiful hot water. Breakfast was €8 for juice, fresh bread and croissants, cheese, fruit, yoghurt, jams and coffee. Good location a short drive from pretty Verdun and historic battle sites nearby. Would definitely stay here again.

An old building that's been kept in excellent repair. The room was perfectly clean with very comfortable beds. The staff were friendly and helpful. We checked in after reception was shut, so they gave us a door code and left our key at reception; no hassle at all. Stayed for one night en route elsewhere; got an excellent's night's sleep. And a really good price for a family room for four people.

The quaint old building- survived 2 world wars, including Battle of Verdun, that destroyed 85% of the city, with its military mementos. No elevator. Clean pleasant, comfortable room with TV, Wi-Fi, plenty of towels, soap, and hot water!! Near bus line. Plenty on site parking ( parking area helps distance from street sounds. Optional contnental breakfast in dining cirner off lobby. Friendly, efficient, helpful staff suffered my fractured schoolboy French with some English comprehension

No elevator. No list of when (if) Bar OPENS (closing hours clearly posted) Basic continental breakfast: 2 cereals, rolls, croissants, cheese, butter, jams, yogurt, OJ, & multi- option hot drink machine: weather chilly- something hot would be appreciated.

Travelled by motorbike was extremely easy to find , with good parking for bikes to be hidden away . The lady on reception was great , her English was way better than my French . It’s very basic very clean and tidy but that’s all we wanted and was exceptionally cheap. If you want a massive room with two sinks and everything that goes with it it’s not for you , but you’ll pay 3 times the price. Suited our needs and will happily use again

This is a two star hotel on the outskirts of town. It is clean and the rooms are fine, though without a kettle etc. The bed is comfortable. It's a place to stay without frills. The staff were very pleasant. Breakfast is basic but sufficient There is lots of parking in the surrounds of the hotel.

What we did not anticipate was the necessity to get to and from the middle of town to the hotel by car. The hotel is a mile or more out of town, and taxis in Verdun are a very rare commodity (not the hotel's fault), and there isn't a regular bus service that we could find.

This is the second time we've stayed at this great hotel near to the town and autoroute. Bedroom and bathroom clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful and friendly. Good free car parking in front of and behind hotel. We were on a motorcycle and the receptionist let us park the bike under cover. Breakfast plentiful and varied.

The Tigre is a good, basic two-star hotel in Verdun. It is not fancy, and the showers are small for American standards. But the staff is always friendly, the hotel is clean, and it is within walking distance of the city. Wifi has always been good. It represents a very good value.

A refurbished hotel is always welcome. It's basic but the price is right.

The breakfast is very low key. I believe it is more for the locals , who are just happy to have a croissant,jam  and a cup of coffee. If You want something else, don't worry to book breakfast.

The Tigre is a good, basic two-star hotel. It is within walking distance to the center of Verdun and to many good restaurants. It is a great value for the money with a good location. The wifi was good.

My American clients did not like the small size of the showers.
