Stumbled upon Bad Bergzabern last minute on my road trip to Slovenia, and I couldn’t believe my luck! Not only was the price incredibly reasonable (only 89 euro), but the quality of the facilities far exceeded expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, making me feel right at home. The town itself is charming and cosy, surrounded by beautiful countryside – perfect for a relaxing stroll after a long drive. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with free WiFi and air conditioning – a must in summer! The restaurant was absolutely lovely, with delicious food and a great atmosphere. Best of all, it's conveniently close to the main highway, making it an ideal stopover without feeling like just another roadside hotel. All in all, a top-notch experience. Truly a hidden gem – highly recommend!

The curtains are not black out curtains

The hotel decor was beautiful, and the room was very clean. The staff were very helpful and extremely friendly. The location is directly in the heart of Bad Bergzabern, and there is ample free parking only about 50 meters from the hotel entrance. Finally, the breakfast variety is one of the best I have experienced, and everything was very fresh and tasty! (The attached photos are of the parking area close to the hotel and the breakfast area).

I cannot think of any negative point.

Super located in the heart of Bad Bergzabern. The room was very nice, clean and well equipped The hotel staff was very welcoming and always there to answer my questions.

I really liked my stay. The only thing I mentioned at check out was, that my mattress was very soft. The staff confirmed they will double check the quality.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, pristinely clean, loads of character to the property and our room was stunning. The staff were all so friendly and went out of their way to be helpful - the service was impeccable. Wonderful selection for breakfast too. I would actually take a detour in order to stay here again.

The staff would not allow you to sign in a minute early. It was clear that everything was about cost.. A complimentary bottle of water would have been nice. The staff at the front desk should learn to smile more. It helps improve Customer Service. The kitchen staff members were exceptional.

Clean,peaceful environment. Rooms recently refurbished to a good standard. The town was a pleasant surprise. Very nice area, lovely old buildings Very good breakfast.

For work purposes the room was not ideal - it was missing a small table to work at and the space on the counter was occupied by the TV and Tea/Coffee maker. However, the staff organized a table for me.

Very good location , easy free parking. Large very modern room with an excellent shower system. Mini bar. Breakfast was good with lots of options. All the staff were really excellent.

Just that the hotel doesn't have a nice lounge bar.

We arrived on a Monday night and a lot of places are closed on a Monday evening. However, we did find a lovely little restaurant to eat in

The location is perfect for any activity in the region. You can hike, bike or try the wine in the many wineries. We liked it a lot
