Clean and comfortable room. Very tidy and cosy. Amazing breakfast options and nice kitchen staff. Great to have option for swimming pool and sauna (was not able to use it).

I have had conversations with 3 staff members on seperate days regarding parking and payment questions. First staff member was perfect. The second one was not good with english but we were able to communicate and she did her best to help me. The third one told me "can't speak english and can't help you sorry". I was able to translate and say what I wanted but she kept speaking fast and was not helpful or caring in that matter.

Very difficult to find in the darkness. No sign of the hotel nearby. Very difficult to find the reception in narrow dark lanes on the hill. We found the reception only because we met a couple of guys that were coming back to the hotel on foot and they showed us the correct lane in the darkness. They told us that the reception was closed since 20.30. In booking.com the check-in times were indicated until 24.00! We wrote our expected arrival time as 22.00- 23.00. We arrived at 22.15: the reception was closed and no one to ask for our room. We called the phone number indicated and we received only an automatic message only in german language. We went out of the hotel and we didn't know what to do. After waiting, a man appeared and assisted us in the check-in. Summarizing, the hotel should put signs on the street, some lamps on the narrow uphill lanes and write the correct check-in times on booking.com.

When I wanted to check in no one was at the reception. Only 10 minutes later someone was actually available to help me. I've asked upfront if there would be vegan options for breakfast and dinner and received the feedback that there indeed would be. For dinner I couldn't find any vegan option on the menu, for breakfast I had to inquire for plant-based drinks for the Müsli - which unfortunately were out of stock at this point in time.

There was no indication where the Hotel was. We knew we were near it thanks to the GPS. You have to pay to park your car (minimal 5€ depending where you want to park it), but since we arrived at 9pm there was no one at reception so we could not even pay for it. The room didn’t look clean and the curtains had blood (BLOOD!) stains. There were no higiene articles (we had to run to the nearest Shop to buy something before it closed). And the facilities were very confusing. There was no Information where the breakfast was. We had to ask and search to find it. Thank god we can also speak German because nothing was in english. It was a very bad experience.
