Very friendly staff and a great breakfast but an odd room; it was cold and austere with a high ceiling, hard floor (no carpet or rug), no decorative touches and little comfort. We had only one pillow (one extra strange flat thing in the wardrobe) and a light duvet. There was no lounge or bar that we could see, so you need to go back into the town if you want a drink or a snack. In contrast, the breakfast was superb, offering a huge range of fresh food and drinks. Perhaps we just got unlucky with the room?

Everything. The Hotel is very well run and the staff are excellent. From the cleaning staff right up to the the management all are very attentive, pleasant and wish you a very good morning with a smile. The atmosphere is most relaxed. We spent a very enjoyable week there. The food is of a very good standard and very well presented.

It seems to be the norm in Germany not to provide non-slip mats in the shower trays. We found the trays extremely slippy and dangerous. The trays are not ribbed, just smooth. Everything else was excellant.

Location of the hotel in the city center, but very quiet location. The hotel staff was friendly. The room was well furnished, but I was pleasantly impressed by the size of the room. Parking spot in front on hotel.

Breakfast had a limited choice, there was a complete lack of fruit, limited selection of cold cuts. On the other hand, the food offered was good.

We were greeted promptly and felt very welcomed. Just having come from an overnight flight, we were allowed to check in early as soon as a room was ready. This facilitated a short sleep before getting up with family and was greatly appreciated. Our room was quiet as comfortable and had everything we needed; a large (King sized in Canadian terms) bed, somewhere to put suitcases, ample room to hang things up. The room was super clean and nicely made up, and the breakfast was good, served in a lovely room. All the staff were friendly and attentive; the man who checked us in and out is outstanding at service. We have family in the area and we will definitely return here. Highly recommend the hotel and the location (in a convenient part of the Altstadt) with free parking on site.

Wonderful location, clean, polite staff

Hotel is very central. Staff is very friendly, very efficient and very helpful. Food is really top notch, also for vegetarians. Bicycle friendly hotel. Cannot recommend highly enough.
