Wonderful hosts who made us feel like we were with friends. The location is right in the center of town across from the castle. Parking is either behind the hotel or in front and is very convenient and safe. The room is large, fully equipped and beds are comfortable. Our dog was also welcome. The breakfast spread prepared for us was huge and with great variety. Overall a great stay!

Not many options for dinner in town but there are couple of supermarkets open late and a pizzeria and one other restaurant on main square.

We've had an amazing stay at the Hotel am Schloss Neuenstein and felt really welcome ! I chose the location based on our travel plans , as we were looking for a place to stay the night, before continuing our travels to Slovakia. Little did we know that this little gem is not just conveniently located less than two miles from the main motorway, but it's a beautiful picturesque town with gorgeous 16th century castle and a church, just a stone's throw away! In the morning we were welcomed with a smile and a beautiful continental breakfast with lots of choice . Very happy with our stay and would absolutely 100% come back!

We stayed in room 25 and had a nice view of the castle from our window. The owner and staff were very personable, friendly and accommodating! Ponie and Michel cooked up a lovely dinner for us and Zalena treated us like it was a private affair. It was a Monday evening and each dish was cooked to perfection (from the Thai crispy duck to the German schnitzel). Breakfast was the best since our arrival in Germany, many choices on the buffet. Hotel am Schloss is a hidden gem.

Nothing with the hotel! The castle was not open for us to tour. Plan accordingly as it is only open once a month. But the outside walk around the perimeter was worthy.

Hotel is close to motorway. Free parking. Breakfaat good. There is kettle, fridge in the room and microwave in the corridor. The owner was friendly and kind.

There is not much to do in the village and no restaurants except in the hotel There is a nice castle in the village. But it was closed. It is open to public only couple days a month.

It was old but clean. There was coffee in the room and also outside of the room. The staff were friendly. The city is small and beautiful.

The room was smaller than my expectations and the window opened to another building so there were no view. There was a road behind the building and it was noisy when opened the window due to passing cars.

Friendly host and staff, freshly prepared dinner, excellent breakfast. The location was just right for us, in a village near the A9 on the way to Berlin. I just wish we had had more time to visit the 'Schloss'! Maybe next time ...

Breakfast was a bit too early for me!

I really enjoy these small hotels in Europe. They always treat me like family and welcome me with a big smile. Maybe it helps that I also bring my friendly dog with me? Also, they were very accommodating of my late arrival. The key was outside as they promised. Breakfast was quite nice too!

No fault of the hotel, but my GPS got a little confused with the narrow streets with somewhat tall buildings blocking the signal.

Communication was very good, late check-in was arranged perfectly. Parking spot was right outside the hotel. Unfortunately we did not have a parking disc, but the staff was very helpful and lent us a disc until the morning, thank you so much for that. Good breakfast and really nice service.

We were very pleased with our one-night stay at Hotel am Schloss Neuenstein. Our room was clean, comfortable, quiet, and spacious enough. Breakfast offerings, both hot and cold, were plentiful and varied. The wifi worked well. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, permitting us to check-in early. We stayed in Neuenstein because it provided easy access to Schwaebisch Hall, but Neuenstein itself proved to be worth a visit.

The breakfast was very good and plentiful.

An elevator so we didn’t have to carry our luggage up the many stairs. Wonderful
