The hotel boasts a breathtaking view over the rolling vineyards — a setting of pure tranquility and quiet charm. Should you not yet have reserved dinner, I warmly suggest you do so. Service is attentive and efficient, while each dish, from the first course to the last, delivers refined flavors with unwavering consistency. The wine selection is excellent, with the rare pleasure of being able to enjoy good ones by the glass, should you prefer not to order a full bottle. My wife is gluten-intolerant, and at both dinner and the sumptuous breakfast she was offered thoughtful alternatives that made her feel fully included despite her dietary needs. Do mention such requirements at the time of booking, in advance. Convenient on-site parking is available. The property is delightfully pet-friendly, with ample grounds for leisurely walks. We are eager to return in the magic of winter.

As expected from the pictures, the views from the hotel are just incredible. Definitely recommend booking a room with a view but the restaurant terrace is also amazing! 10/10 romantic

The restaurant is pretentious which I suppose is a wanted effect, just not really something we were keen on. Having said that, the food was really good and I also did notice people were having food in the lobby so there might be less pretentious room service/lobby food options that we didn't explore but for our second evening we opted in for some food in town which was much more casual.

Beautifully situated hotel with a fantastic restaurant. Access is somewhat challenging as the last part of the journey is a winding, steep and narrow road. However, it's worth it. No cooked breakfast (other than boiled eggs), but there is an ample choice and the quality of food as well as drinks is very good.

Location was perfect with a great view of the river and town, and close to restaurants and vineyards on the hill behind the hotel. The staff guided us through the local businesses and wineries and encouraged us to return for the holiday markets. The hotel restaurant was perfect for both dinner and breakfast.

Delays in check out - sometimes no-one about, and another time receptionist spent ages giving tourist advice to someone when they could have broken off to check two of us out in a couple of minutes, or got someone else to help.

Amazing view and a wonderful balcony to enjoy it from. The breakfast balcony was also wonderful. The are around the hotel is one of the loveliest I've visited in Germany and it's close to a lot of interesting spots.

The mattresses and pillows could be much better.

View - fabulous. Pillows - awful. Room refreshments- tea/coffee facilities available should be added Breakfast - should be more interesting, better offer of cold meats & fish. Cooked breakfast menu more obvious. Staff were very helpful, especially Reception Staff, they were outstanding.

The location and view from the hotel is absolutely superb! I had breakfast at the hotel which was excellent, good choice and well presented. My room had a balcony looking out over the town and what a view!!!! Staff were very helpful and nothing was too much bother if asked.

As I was travelling for work and on my own I didn't use the restaurant in the evening, I ate at the factory I was working at and also, the restaurant wasn't open on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday which was most of my week at the hotel.

Its location right in the middle of the red wine vineyards! My dog was allowed to sleep in the room and taking him for a walk late at night and early morning too was DELIGHTFUL ! Breakfast was lovely. GREAT terrace with great views for dinner and breakfast. Loved the private balconies as well. Peaceful !

Beautiful view from the valley sides covered with vines over the walled town of Ahrweiler. Helpful staff. Good restaurant with excellent wine list from wineries whose vines surround the hotel. Amazing terraced bedrooms with furniture to sit comfortably to enjoy the view and catch some sun
