I traveled as a single mother for NYE with my 5 yr old daughter and our dog. The location was absolutely stunning, the main town center is only a 3-5min walk from the hotel and is so cute! This was my first adventure traveling solo with my daughter and dog, I was nervous to say the least, but this part of our trip was so easy, fun and I felt safe the entire time. Breakfast was wonderful. My 5 year old loved it too. Although I did see a lot of dog parents, the reception area and the hotel grounds were flawlessly clean. They even had soft towels to wipe paws with before coming back in. Highly recommend this hotel and I really want to go back in Spring or Summer!

Room service would have been nice as there wasn't a lot of dinner options for us around New Years Eve. You can order restaurant delivery but again, not a lot of options. Not sure if it was the holiday or there aren't a ton of places delivering nearby.

The location was fairy-tale, outstanding! Had a view of 3 out of 4 directions from our junior suite. Also, the breakfast was wonderful. We would recommend your hotel to anyone and plan to come and stay again. The 7th floor is awesome!

The knowledge of the front desk staff about local restaurants and excursions was not up to the standards that we expected based on all of the other wonderful aspects of the hotel, at least the person who was there each time we needed help. We ended up finding our own restaurants in the end, as the reservation was not made for us even though it was promised. The individual also had no knowledge of the wines or other alcohols (brandies, schnapps) that were served in your front area. It would be helpful to have that knowledge. The Wine Tour / Tasting was done only in German with little to no effort to explain in English. 4 of the 9 people in attendance were non-English speaking.

Great parking at a hotel with really good location. Great breakfast with really nice staff. Parking in the basement was really good! We hade a room with balconies facing the Mosel river which was great place to spend lazy afternoons on with a glass of Reisling.

The only comment I have is that the bathroom lacked storage and hooks to hang towels and other item on.

We were lucky to get an upgrade, and an upgrade it was! The room was massive. Plenty of well decorated space with a clean and modern bathroom on the upper floor of the apartment. We had access to the private balcony overlooking the vineyards and the Burg Landshut. Minibar had access to free samples of Deinhard's wine. Location was perfect - basically within the historic old town. Good breakfast with multitude of choices. Underground parking is a bit expensive, but incredibly convenient.

Decor and ambience were excellent. Location cannot be beat. Receptionist was courteous and professional. The breakfast was amazing; fresh, great selection. The facility is top quality. Wish we could have done the wine tasting.

1. Inability to control the thermostat to a desired temperature/fan continued to cycle on & off constantly. 2. The 1600-2000 sauna time was inconvenient. 3. Navigating the layout with three buildings can be challenging and difficult for older guest with luggage. 4. The service in the rooftop bar was marginal at best.

It is the best hotel we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in hotels all over the world, some 5 star! The staff were great, the room was amazing. They provided 2 dog bowls and 2 lots of treats as we had 2 dogs with us, many hotels, despite knowing we have 2 dogs with us, only provide things for 1 dog. The lighting was fun as it could be controlled forma panel and kept changing :¬) The drinks in the mini bar were complimentary as was a drink before dinner. Dinner in their Asian restaurant was also excellent and so different. Breakfast was outstanding. It was only an overnight stop on the journey home across Europe, so we are planning to return, without the dogs as it is a 10 hour drive from us, in the spring to enjoy it more slowly.

Perfect location, right in the middle of town, within walking distance of the Winter Market Square. Room was lovely - quiet with comfortable beds, plenty of space and shower and bathroom were very good (I really appreciate good pressure in the shower). I traveled with my wife and two kids (11 and 14) and we chose a suite room. There was enough space for all of us and while open-planned, there was separation between the kids sleeping area and ours - a rarity in Europe!

While I appreciate that many hotels are trying to save the environment (and money), this hotel suggested they were doing every other day service. I was more than happy to reuse towels, but the bins were not emptied nor the coffee and mini bar restocked. I did ask for more coffee and they were happy at reception to provide, but straightening up the room to a basic level could have been done, in my opinion.

The room was huge - you can really spread out. Would be a great location to stay for several days. Nice little restaurant and shopping area just out the door. Nearby bridge is a nice walk to other side of the Mosel and there is a wine tasting business that is unbelievable. Staff is fantastic (especially if you stay in the third building - you’ll need a little help moving through the maze of hallways to your room. Breakfast offering was extremely good Even with the prices as posted, you will find this to be a rewarding stay and one to remember for future travel.

Great location close to the old town. The room was spacious and modern. The spa area was a nice treat and the breakfast was delicous - lots of options and it was open late in the morning! The staff was also very friendly.

The bed was a bit soft and the matrass on one side worn out creating a little dip in which you automatically roll. Also could hear the shower from the room next door. The price was also a bit high but we booked last minute so maybe that had something to do with it.

Perfect location to explore Bernkastel, only few minutes walk into the centre. High quality finish in both the room and the reception/bar. Sekt on arrival was a lovely gesture. Very comfortable and large bed, slept extremely well. Shower and bathroom area was well presented. Ample storage for suitcases and clothes. Mini bar was stocked with wine selection and fruitsecco, for no extra cost :) We were travelling with our dog, there was already a waterbowl provided along with quality treats and poop bags - very much appreciated! Staff were very welcoming at reception, both for check in and also evening drinks at the bar.
