We were welcomed by Martina at reception who was informative and just such a lovely person to meet. The reception area is so well thought out with a variety of free beverages (including a lovely beer on tap I’m told!) and snacks as well as games for the children. The sauna and wellness area are lovely for an evening relaxation session. There is also a lovely ‘barefoot park’ room for the children that they loved exploring for an hour. The breakfast was delicious and varied with items to order such as great pancakes and eggs in whatever format your prefer. The family room was great for us with a convertible bunk bed that my mine loved!

We only wished we had more than one night there - it was intended to be a stop off on a road trip for us but we really enjoyed our stay and hope to go back!

Overall, this hotel remained outstanding. Its staff in all areas, food service, reception, cleaning, were attentive and exceeded all expectations. Like most German hotels, air conditioning is not available but, to counter the summer heat, my room had a small portable fan which kept me cool during hot days and nights. I found this an excellent feature. As I grew up in Florida without air conditioning, we used portable electric fans to counter the hot, humid nights. The restaurant across the street gave an outstanding breakfast (Frühstück) selection. I found its sauna and other recreational amenities interesting and unique. Also, the abundance of drinks & snacks really supports visiting families. The restaurant is popular and requires reservations. But, the restaurant also runs a separate takeout option next door which provides really good German food in convenient packaging.

I really do not have any negative comments in regards to this hotel and restaurant. My only regret concerned eating dinner at its restaurant was limited as it is very popular and requires reservations.

Great Breakfast with local German breads and pastries and eggs to order. Excellent Coffee! Coffee, Tea, Juices, snacks, and Beer were available in the lobby all day and were included with the room. All the staff were super helpful and friendly. We were offered an entire apartment vs just a room for our 9 day stay. It made our stay so much more comfortable. We would stay here again when in Stuttgart!

Location was ok but a little further to restaurants, etc. than I was hoping. Also, we were able to find free parking but it was on the street and often a block or so away from the hotel. Not a problem for us as it is a very safe area.

Lovely hotel with excellent restaurant available for dinner. Ver good breakfasts. Nice area to sit with free local beer an snacks included in the price. Friendly staff.

Confusion over room cleaning, whilst happy not to have our room cleaned every day we would have liked it to be be cleaned twice in 4 days. We had to request towels and loo rolls and even when we asked at reception for room to be cleaned it wasn’t. There needs to be a 'Please Clean My Room' sign for the door as well as 'Do Not Disturb' and 'Don’t Clean My Room’ signs.

This hotel is a little GEM located close to the town and restaurants. It is easy to find with excellent parking facilities for a short break or overnight stop. The staff were welcoming and helpful - we were offered complimentary drinks and snacks upon arrival including local fraught beer. The breakfast was excellent - with plenty of locally sourced food - and freshly prepared eggs of your choice. There were also complimentary snacks and drinks to take away. Great value hotel

This accommodation was booked for us to attend N overnight sports event. We were looking for something nearby the venue. This hotel met and supereseded our expectations. The reception staff was friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was thoughtfully prepared.

The restaurant that held breakfast was extremely warm. Like we needed to open windows without shirts warm… but if that is all you didn’t like…then take off your shirt and have the loveliest stay!

We loved the apartment! It worked out great for our long stay (5 weeks). The location was excellent. Schonbuch is only a short walk away and the train station about 15 minutes. The staff were very attentive and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The beds aren't the most comfortable and could do with an update. That's all I can complain about!

The breakfast choices were phenomenal, so many choices. The location was close to main areas, but tucked away enough to have quiet.

We had two beds, the only issue was the second bed which was a sofapullout and hard. Took some getting used to.

The staff was friendly, breakfast was amazing, one of the best we had, lots of options, everything fresh. We also had dinner in their restaurant, traditional German Cuisine, loved the selection of dishes, food well seasoned, lovely flavours. The room was clean and comfortable, the room, lift and halls had special scents, everything to immerse you in the black forest experience.

We had a car, but if not, you will need transport to explore around, but of course we knew that already, so it wasn't an issue to us. Herrenberg, Tübingen and Stugartt still near by.

Room cleaning must be ordered through their website. Restaurant for breakfast is across the road in a separate building. The apartments on offer are not at the standard of the main hotel.
