We have been picked up at the station by hotel staff and guided to our accomodation (Villa Düne). The interior was excellent as expected (2nd stay).

The main building was seasonally closed, so we had to take a short 250 m walk for breakfast at the Strandhotel every morning.

Central Borkum with a 5 minutes walk to the beach. Nice wellness area with garden. Restaurants nearby. Rich breakfast buffet in a nice room.

Mattrass was very soft for those who like that.

The hotel centrally located, right in front of the tram station. Although centrally located, it was not loud. The food was very good for both breakfast and dinner. The personnel both in the restaurant and at the reception were very helpful, friendly and polite. The pool, even tough it was a written that it is heated, the day we stayed at the hotel, it was colder, so only recommended the ones who enjoy fresh water :).

Booked a room with balcony! was changed no explanation! Breakfast selection changed every day? no normal cereals! no edam/ gouda cheese! bacon overcooked!

The elevator was not functional

We had a great breakfast, and the location right at the train station works great.

The lady at the reception who spoke English was exceptional. She was extremely thoughtful, considerate, helpful, and kind. I should have asked her name but forgot each time. The hotel is amazing. The room is spacious, clean, lots of natural light, and a great view of the town from the window. The pool was a lot of fun and the spa was soooo warm. Breakfast included really tasty hot items as well as the usual continental style breakfast. The trolley from the ferry stops right in front of the hotel (very easy for hauling luggage). A short walk to the main beach and right in town for food and shops. We also received some discounts for staying here. Fantastic place!

Could just use a fan for at night (it was a tad hot for sleeping)…but that is just being nit-picky. This place is amazing.

The service and staff was good and friendly. Facilities were nice too.

I had a front room, not only was it unbearable hot with no air conditioning, I couldn’t open the windows because of the noise from the street. And no shutters with only thin curtains barely darken the room.
