I loved the faded grandeur of this lovely building.The garden was stepped down to a beautiful meadow next to the river Aller. The footbridge to Celle Centre was very near. Our room was huge with a winter garden which is really a conservatory with pretty windows and grilles.The extra cool sitting area was lovely. The staff were great,particularly the ladies. Breakfast in a pretty salon,beautifully presented,was very good. The beds were very comfy,but mine squeaked badly! The linen was very nice,too. We loved the stroll from the hotel into the remarkable Celle.

Parking isn’t really available.There is space for one vehicle and a key given to the gate.Otherwise parking is very safe,but on the opposite side of the road,space limited. Not a problem really.

I did not have Breakfast. One morning in the Dinning room, I had Tea and Coffee, the staff gave me a cup of Tea First as requested and a Large Jug of Coffee + Milk to help myself. The Duvet and Pillows were the most comfortable ones I've ever had ! All the Bed Linen was beautiful comfortable cotton. The owner gave me keys to Front and Back Door so could come and go as wished. The Back entrance led to Garden and steps down to a Meadow....a lovely walk leading to a pedestrian Bridge over river into Celle...beautiful relaxing scenic walk. I was able to leave my Luggage in Hotel on last day after checking out. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and when visiting Celle will defiantly stay again. Thank you

For myself, ( do suffer with sciatica and hip ache) I did find the bed mattress a little firm. There was an extra blanket available, so I slid this under the mattress sheet and had a sound comfortable sleep. I would of liked a Kettle in the room to be able to make hot drinks of my choice and when I wanted. I do carry my own De-caffinated tea and coffee with me ....there was a mini fridge in room, where milk could be kept.

We are here to participate in the Messe Hannover exhibition, it is 40 minutes drive to the exhibition hall, we have a parking place just 50 meters from the hotel. People are real nice, breakfast is real good and beautiful, Celle is so nice town for our stay, we’d like to recommend to everyone, the house is just like the family I’ve stayed in Europe when I was young, it feels so nice and like home to stay here, my colleagues enjoyed the stay so much.

A small atmospheric building. Perfect location close to the center and at the same time in a quiet area (we had a room facing the garden, not the street). A beautiful garden with the opportunity to relax. Good breakfasts. Free public parking on the street.

Price a bit too high compared to the level.

Charming, full of character house with lovely garden. Able to walk into the Old Town through the garden and along the river. Comfy, extremely clean room and bathroom with mini-bar. Tasty breakfast.

Poor WiFi and no tea making facilities in the room. Quite a lot of stairs

We were on the street side and there was some traffic noise.

Charming and interesting old building. Our room was spacious and had a wintergarden which was lovely.

It would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room but perhaps that is a very British requirement. It would also be nice to be shown to our room with assistance with luggage rather than given a key and pointed in the right direction.

Quaint Hotel. We had a large family room. Very clean and a great breakfast. Good location for a wander into town.

We really loved the stay. The hotel was amazing. Super nice staff. Close to the certum. We really recommend IT.

The hotel is in a historic house with a wonderful garden. The breakfast was very good. It is servered in a nice room with a historic flair, overlooking the garden. We arrived late in the evening, but could easily get access by means of a key-box.
