Great little hotel within 25 minutes walking distance from center of Celle. Located close to the trainstation. Good parking opportunities. Very friendly staff who gave us a warm welcome although we arrived late with a screaming toddler. Great breakfast. Nice and clean rooms. Great beds. The hotel has a very nice park-like garden. We had two great nights and would come back any day. Tip: remember to book a table at the restaurant. We didn't but the food looked really good.

Very minor detail: the annex we stayed in had two rooms. In one of the rooms the large yellow window had no curtain resulting in a lot of light coming in (not great for putting kids to sleep). Wifi worked bad in the annex.

We were able to store our bikes in a dry place (for which we were very grateful, given the weather). The breakfast was really good with lots of choices and excellent strong coffee. There is a self-service fridge for drinks.

Small things: it would have been good to have tea/coffee-making facilities in the room and, much as we appreciated the self-service fridge, we felt that the beer was slightly overpriced at three euro for a 0.3 bottle (of Krombacher Pils).

The room was large and comfortable with two comfortable chairs. Everything was very clean. The bathroom was spacious and the shower worked very well. Hotel Schaper has a mid century style which is charming.

It was a little further out of town than anticipated but it was a very easy walk to and from the station.

Staff, who is a family running the hotel for the fourth generation, was very nice, friendly and helpful. The rooms are of good standard and the bathrooms looks newly renovated. Good loction not far from central Celle. Very high value for the money, recommended!

Super charming hotel with great staff, facility, parking, price and location walking distance to city centre. I recommend anyone visiting Celle to stay here.

Great hotel. oou could not wish for more for this price. If I will be in the area will definitely stay there again. Great and helpfull hosts, breakfast was great too with wide selection of cold bufet and hot food too.

Good location close to the railway station. The accomodation had two rooms so plenty of space despite the extra bed. Nice breakfast. The eggs were boiled to perfection. Fantastic restaurant on site.

No fridge in the room. Breakfast was good but a bit expensive. Wifi did not work well in our room (room 1 is in a separate building).

Pity the restaurant was closed. The reason i made the choice for the hotel was the offer of a restaurant facility. The rest of the hotel facilities and staff service was great.

Warm reception, businesslike but pleasant, comfortable room, space to park. Breakfast expensive, but very decent for hungry men and endless coffee which was real, not horrid machine stuff.

Really nothing to object to.
