An old hotel and restaurant, already in the family for many generations, in German-style, although very close to the Netherlands. The room was a bit small, as was the shower and toilet, but it was OK. The food in the restaurant was very good. A pleasant stay.

A water cooker in the room would have been nice

Just a couple of hours form the Hook of Holland and minutes off the motorway on our way to Greece. Friendly welcoming staff, electric charge points, ample breakfast. wish we could have staid longer as there was a local festival.

The team at Wanders were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Theodore went over and above the expectations of any hotelier to ensure I made my train helping me get to the station in plenty of time. The staff at dinner was as helpful and it was clear they took real pride in their work, their guests and the reputation of the hotel.

Absolutely nothing, for the price, the location and the service everything was perfect.

Everything. Reception was warm. Owner and team welcoming. Food was delicious. Restaurant and menu was good. Room was comfortable and decor was as advertised (the Seventies). Breakfast was perfect for us and the best for the price for anywhere we stayed over 2 weeks. The locality was well known to us and nostalgic. Safe locked car park. Market position great. We would come again. Thank you to our hosts.

As an elderly couple we requested a shower in preference to a bath. The shower was provided but as is not unusual, required standing in the bath. We managed it with difficulty, but not a massive issue. And space probably prohibited any other way of providing it.

Owner of the hotel was very attentive. We booked a twin room as it was an all male party, but when we arrived we had a double bed with twin mattress's, which was not ideal. The owner of the hotel moved us to a suite. Food in the restaurant was the best meal we had on our 10 day tour around Germany and Holland

No life available, which did not help my friend who has some mobility problems

Traditional hotel and restaurant right in the center of the village. Price-ratio is excellent. Restaurant was very good and popular. Breakfast simple, functional and cheap for EUR 5. Rooms quiet, comfortable, and functional, as long as it is just for sleeping, shower and toilet. Secured, closed garage for bicycles.

Decoration very traditional.

We had a very nice stay at Hotel - Restaurant Wanders. Our room was clean and the beds comfortable. Free private secured parking is available at the back of the hotel. We ate in the restaurant and the food and service were excellent. Our host spoke excellent English and was very friendly and attentive. Would certainly stay here again.

Secure cycle parking with facilities for charging electric bikes. Interesting historic building. Dinner was good, varied menu, locals seemed to be eating there. Beer and wine were both good. Good to have a bath in the bathroom after cycling there.

Bath took a long time to drain but that didn't affect us.
