A welcoming hotel, smart and modern with some touches of glamour in the communal areas, as well as a bar full of character. Nice restaurant, a good choice of menu and very pleasant and helpful staff. A perfect location for exploring Burg on foot and also to visit the surrounding areas, beaches etc. A well proportioned bedroom with good storage, comfortable bed and excellent bathroom and shower. We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed it overall.

A couple of things were disappointing. There were numerous flies in the restaurant during breakfast time. We noticed other reviews commenting on this and we're surprised nothing had been done about it. The hot food - eggs, bacon etc was covered but all the meats, cheeses, breads etc had flies all over them. As a result we only ate breakfast a few times, which was frustrating as we'd paid for it. Surely it's not too difficult to cover the food? Secondly, we realise that in general , hotels in Germany do not provide tea and coffee making facilities in rooms, but as overseas visitors it would be nice if this was included in the price. It's a small detail but would make a big difference.

The hotel is close to being perfect. Nice quiet well maintained hotel with very friendly people. Very close to the city center. Car charger nearby in walking distance. Breakfast is excellent and delicious. The room is very cosy.

Our hotel room was facing the inside court area, where personnel were smoking, and the air of the smoke came into our hotel room, and as a result, we had to close the windows and could not enjoy the fresh morning air. It would have been better if the hotel enforces that personnel does not smoke in the entire hotel area.

We were looking forward to stay in this lovely hotel again, we had been there last December, there is a great parking for free. The restaurant is very good.

This was the second time we stayed in the hotel, but what a deception, we were placed in a tiny room with view to a hedge and the road. There is one part new building, but we were lodged in the old part. I was told that this is where they lodge people who book with booking.com. The room, like the bathroom, is very small, but good quality. The breakfast starts only at 7.00, we were going to take an early ferry to Denmark, not sure I will return there again.

We booked at first a double normal room, and we were very happy already from the colors and the style of the room, that we extended our stay for one more day in the hotel. The hotel was really clean from the bathrooms to the restaurant. Literally everywhere. It is a family-friendly hotel with very calm and nice colors, very friendly staff and very helpful staff that they create a very pleasant stay and experience to the hotel guests. The breakfast was very rich and very special with plenty of food. The food in the restaurant was simply amazing, I recommend the tuna tartar which was one of the best tartar I ever had with freshly mango and cucumber, then the beef carpacio, which was simply amazing. Then the fish and the Black Angus, was extraordinary. Literally, the food here in these hotel is exceptional. The sauna facilities were also very clean and very professional. We were unlucky that the masser was sick, but it was so big deal. We had an amazing time and we gonna definitely come back

The breakfast was just lovely. Great bathroom. Very clean and comfortable room. Beautiful restaurant. I had forgotten something in my room after checking out and they were so kind to call me afterwards and offered to mail it to me. Very thoughtful.

Everything was great, maybe have a children's menu at the actual restaurant with "comfort foods for kids". Then I could take my little son along next time.

Burg-Klause is a hotel with class in itself! wonderful place of comfort, super cleanliness, excellent service. The restaurant serves exquisite dishes in a pleasant atmosphere. One of the best breakfasts - for example: scrambled eggs are available on request, the chef prepares it à la minute. Guarded parking lot. Rich breakfast, very comfortable rooms, great parking area, very close to center town, delicious dinner opportunities with traditional german atmosphere

Its not possible to book massage at the same day, there is no fixed person for it.

Beautiful room,, with a very comfortable sofa bed. The bathroom is perfect! Great lights, sink and shower, and the little discret lamp that automatically lits when you need the bathroom in the middle of the night is a big plus! Exceptional spa area with 3 saunas, and breakfast was fantastic!
