We had booked an apartment at the top floor, and it was quite spacious. Good quality beds, bathroom was nice. Furnishings and fittings were top notch and quite modern. Kitchenette was very useful. Location is perfect for the price we paid - a peaceful, safe neighborhood just a few minutes walk from the S Bahn station, from where its 2 halts to the Hauptbahnhof. Although the distance is large (Short trip tickets do not apply), the train covers it within 10 minutes. There's a bakery/cafe opposite the hotel, although we did not try it.

Sloping roof, sometimes bump my head over the bed. Only a single window (and a small attic window) so the room is darker than it should have been. No elevator, but its to be expected from old style buildings like this. The Kitchenette could do with some more utensils/cutlery and a toaster would be useful addition

I stayed at Zur Waldlust because I was attending a concert at the Jahrhunderthalle. The property is 15 mins taxi from airport and 10 mins from the venue. It is also 4 mins walk from the train station (which I took on the way in- 30 mins from airport). Overall it was perfect for what I needed. Check in was easy, room was spacious and clean. Staff was friendly upon check-in. Best part was the cost, super cheap!! The neighbourhood is quiet and not much going on, but not needed for what my reason for staying.

Walls are a little thin, can hear everyone walking through the halls.

Location was great, close to the station. Good value for money and cosy atmosphere.

My colleague got the last room in the hotel therefore it was smaller and his arrival time was without front desk so didn't manage to get a water kettle so his experience was less good than mine. I would return to this hotel again but my colleague feels differently (it was booked with my name too hence the two reviews with different scores).

Very clean and neat. This is a hotel and restaurant, restaurant closes at 22.00. Literally 5 min walk to S-Bahn Frankfurt-Nied. Very convenient. Very welcoming staff. A fridge with drinks available 24 hours at additional price.

For people who are sensitive to sounds, it is not 100% soundproof. I could hear a bit what's going on in the street, but overall the street is quiet. Too bad there is no breakfast available. And unfortunately no fridge in the room

It was very handy having the restaurant downstairs, good food, open late and the atmosphere was wonderful! We also really liked the drinks available past opening hours. The location is great as it’s close to the train that gets you to the central station ( only a few stops ) and it’s very quiet and less crowded. Staff very friendly and kind too :)

The room we got wasn’t quite like the pictures. A kettle would have been handy for making coffee in the morning although there is a bakery nearby where you can buy some.

Location quiet, well connected with train Breakfast available in the bakery just in front of the hotel, open from 6 am The dinner is really special! The food is tasty, fresh and we loved the traditional dishes of the day. The chef is great value and it's been really nice to have a chat in the beer garden. The local apple-wine is deliciius

I had a great stay at Zur Waldlust Hotel. Very clean room, great hospitality from owner & people working there, location only 150m from S Bahn which is only 2 stops from Main station. There is a restaurant onsite usually open in the evenings. Bus stop 10 meters far. I stayed there 4 nights and fully recommend & would return in the future. Thank you !!

Bed too soft for me as I really like harder bed

Traditional hotel offering traditional German cooking. Staff were welcoming. The bed was comfortable, shower was great and wifi was quick. Other visitors might prefer a more central location but this place suited me - it's away from all the high rises and concrete.

Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Close to the train station, which quickly gets you to the centre of town. I stayed here because it was close to the sports ground where I was training. But it could be used as a reasonably priced accomodation to explore Frankfurt. No breakfast but there is a bakery just across from the hotel.

My room, a double to myself, was wonderful! Every inch clean and perfect condition. Even FaceTimed my sister in US to show her.

I arrived in the dark and wasn’t sure it was open. The entrance is actually on the right side of the building. I was immediately welcomed in and taken care of.
