Good wines (sparkling wines!) at the hotel’s restaurant; unfortunately no regional food plates.

Room and bathroom very clean, comfortable bed. Quiet, good variety for breakfast. Large parking area next to hotel.

Wish that they had explained to us when we arrived about the "self" wine tasting available.

The hotel is exceptional. Everything is new and very clean. Rooms are stylish and come with a water kettle and a Nespresso machine which is rare even in good German hotels. When making a reservation ask for a room with a view over the old city center (2nd floor or higher). This place is run by a family of winemakers. Thus, each room is stocked with a good choice of wine from their wineyard and in the lobby there is a quite cool vending machine from which one can buy a good glass of regional wines 24h a day.

Our stay at Weinhotel Freylich Zahn was wonderful. The staff was very kind and informative and the hotel was satisfactorily clean. Especially, the wine vending machine was amazing, which definitely made our vacation lovely. We would highly recommend the restaurant of the hotel as well. The parking lot is also spacious.

Breakfast was very nice... fresh/fast & excellent coffee!

Only that in the handicapable assessible room, the shower head could not be raised high enough for a person to stand (second or longer rod would be a good idea).

The breakfast at the hotel was outstanding, and the dinner at the restaurant in the basement was equally impressive. The selection of wines was superb, and the wine-tasting facility in the hotel is truly exceptional—a highlight of the experience. The only thing that could elevate this hotel even further would be the addition of a small gym and sauna. Considering the chic, modern vibe of the hotel, which clearly appeals to younger, more fitness-oriented guests, a fitness facility would be a fantastic addition. It would perfectly complement the lifestyle this hotel embodies. Overall, a wonderful stay with just a small improvement that could make it even better!
