Peaceful, free safe car park near by, all staff very kind and speak English, very reasonable prices for room and restaurant food and the bar for alcohol. I feel safe here. Bedroom is clean, bed is very comfortable, remember to bring with you a 2 pin adapter for your mobile charger, staff very kind, let me charge the phone in the bar. Breakfast is wonderful, from Continental, UK style cooked breakfast to yogurt, cereals, lovely coffee, lovely fresh juices. It's heavenly here and could stay forever. Large screen TV in room. A little bed side fan would have been helpful and very warm along with a USB charging point in the room to charge mobile phone.

The location is good if you need to stay one night while traveling through Germany, as the highway is very close. The staff was mostly friendly, although they didn't speak English very well. There was also a restaurant, so there was no need to look for anything else, and they offered a variety of traditional German dishes.

The breakfast was good, but the scrambled eggs were cold, which is a pity because the taste was fine. Some things could have been cleaner or more up to date.

Good selection at breakfast - cheeses, meats, pretzels, rolls, bread. Cakes that were offered were not as appealing on their second day. One server was friendly, other staff, including owners, were not as friendly as welcoming as they were at other hotels we stayed. Good selection of teas at breakfast, could be more fresh water available. The rooms we booked had A/C, which was much needed during our stay. Not all rooms had it. Close to the Autobahn and central for a visit to that part of Bavaria.

Bathroom and shower in the bathroom were tiny. It was hard to close the shower doors, and hard to move around in the shower. Lighting in the bathroom was not very flattering. Some bathrooms are probably bigger, so you should pay attention to the room category when you are booking.

We stopped here to break a very long car journey. Location is great, very close to A3 with plenty of free parking. Lovely, friendly staff at reception.

I was disappointed on a check out day. There were 3 different occasions of staff (I assume cleaners) knocking on our door, entering the room and being surprised to see us. This was between 8 -10am, check out time is 11am. The time between knocking and opening a room was about 5 seconds max. Once they did not even knock, just barged in... I have not raised this with the reception as, frankly, each time I thought they will not come back until we check out...and then we did :) Gluten-free bread for breakfast is really just crackers, not a real bread. Breakfast is nice overall though.

Excellent breakfast , with a wide choice. We also had an evening meal in the restaurant, but opting to sit outside on their lovely covered veranda.Staff very accommodating, allowing us to park our motorcycles in a garage on site, rather than the car park. Happy to recommend.

Not too much…it would be nice to have tissues in the bathroom and the breakfast coffee could be a bit stronger (but that’s personal taste of course :-) )

Friendly staff, good restaurant, good breakfast buffet, quiet area and room, good bed. Was able to get a booking done same day ad-hoc, so great luck.

Basically in the middle of nowhere in a small village. Not much around there, need a car :)

Wonderful place to stay, just off the the motorway. This was the second time we stayed here. Perfect half way stage on our journey. Good breakfast buffet with a wide selection of items. Friendly, helpful staff. Will definitely stay here again.

I regularly stay in this hotel with my children and my dog and it is always a good choice. This time, however, I was given a triple room different from those before: newly refurbished with air-conditioning, windows oriented into the inner courtyard. This was by far the best stay I had in this (anyway good value for money) hotel. As always, the place is perfectly reachable from the highway, has a good breakfast, good parking, OK Internet connection, good options was walking the dog and letting it run freely (always a bonus) and useful+reasonably priced Italian restaurants in neighbouring villages. This is and stays my preferred place for west/east EU trips I regularly make.

Nothing really. I knew what I was getting and there were no negative surprises. Thanks for a good customer service during my recent reservation too (some of them direct, some via Booking).

Convenient location between Bamberg and Rothenburg on der Tauber. Peaceful outdoor seating at the restaurant. Friendly Staff. Our room had a balcony and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony after a long day of site-seeing.

No shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom which is a minor complaint.
