A lovely hotel in a magical location. Our room was comfortable. We really enjoyed the steam shower and their breakfast is fabulous! You can easily walk to all the locations from this hotel. We would recommend this hotel and plan to go back. We enjoyed using the bikes and did the boat tour from the hotel, both were great.

Clouds of mosquitoes swarm you everywhere you go. I would’ve liked a heads up from the welcome message so I could come prepared with repellent. The hotel only has one kids bike and quite a few families would’ve liked to use bikes. The hotel recommends the paddle boats at the Schneider family, but they were not friendly to us when we went over.

We stayed in the Suite with sauna and it was very nice. The sauna was clean (like new) and functioned perfectly, it was very nice to relax in the heat in private. The room was very clean in general, the tile work in the shower might need a little deep clean, but otherwise spotless. It was a huge room in the attic of an old house just steps from a canal and the hotel's two restaurants. We had amazing weather so I can't contribute to the "hot v cold" aspect of the attic. Overall a great stay with a very nice buffet breakfast included. The buffet spread was pretty comprehensive, eggs (scrambled and hard boiled), breads, cheeses, fruit, yoghurt, meats...the whole deal! So grab some bug spray, rent a kayak, and sauna like a German (but in private)!

The room was pricey, but for the sauna and breakfast it wasn't a wallet breaking extravagance. I will say that the biggest negative of the room was the "pillows". I'm not sure why Europeans have to punish themselves with the worst pillows, we have found this phenomenon in multiple countries now, but these take the cake. For the room cost, one would expect big fluffy comfortable pillows. These were lumpy and understuffed, it was a chore to find a comfortable way to utilize them. I also found the bed to be too firm, but that is a personal preference so buyer beware.

Great location in Lehde, in the heart of the Spreewald; the facilities and room super clean, communication excellent, the staff very helpful and friendly, the breakfast outstanding. A place to recommend.

It was a great stay. If forced to state anything for improvement, then the doors of each room have such a tight self-closing system that we first locked ourselves out; and each time someone leaves their room and doesn't hold the door, it causes a huge bang. Not a problem as such, but a bit annoying at 6:30am.

We really enjoyed that the room was close to the canal and we could see the passing boats. Also the room we stayed at was very comfortable and cosy. The staff was really helpful and the breakfast was delicious.

The main disadvantage was that the parking fee had to be paid separatly.

In the most incredible location…the village of Lehde in Spreewald…utter tranquility, clean, comfortable (!!) beds, pillows & room, such a nice staff, especially Maria at the reception desk! Excellent breakfast, nice that we could rent bicycles at the hotel. We loved it and hope to return.

Nothing of any real consequence at all to dislike, other than perhaps rugs a bit dated, but still clean!

Beautiful quiet place in middle of Spreewald nature - lots of culture, cycling, and boating on the canals. The property is next to the water and their food is excellent, especially the vegetarian options. Highly recommended!

Drinks were not included in the dinner meal, and bike rentals were extra.

The WiFi was terrible. It only worked occasionally and certainly not in our room. Needs fixing!

The hotel is in an excellent location, conveniently located near the canals, and the beautiful village lady and the town of Lübbenau. There are restaurants in walking distance. The breakfast is excellent.

Call Valerie touristy crowded area. The hallway in the room smelled a little musty and Smokey.

The transport does not work during weekends so if you don’t have a car, you need to walk 40 min by foot from the train station

The break fast was nice , the room was very clean and roomy, location as a bit distance from the train station , but its walkable.
