Room was fine and comfortable bed, very clean, missing climatization.

Not possible to drive in to hotel by the car. The underground parking places around hotel do not accept abroad car plate / not possible to complete a payment process by automat. It was extremely difficult to find proper parking place close to hotel. Finally parking place was detected 800m from hotel. Hotel shall to informed about those issue – especially people travelling from abroad. It was big surprice to parking a car anywether after long trip. Supposed to I I will not return anymore to this hotel due to this subject

The staff was very kind and helpful, everything was perfectly cleaned and the room was wonderful and cozy. The location is also perfect, right in the beautiful old centre of Hattingen. It’s calm and really amazing. Restaurant in the hotel is also very delicious with kind staff and the breakfast was great too- many good options. One of the best stays ever and I’m already looking forward the next visit!

The location is amazing, in the middle of old Hattingen. The restaurant is lively, very good German food and amazing for a drink, with or without kids. The hosts were very helpful, both during dinner time as well as breakfast. The hotel room was clean, spacious and modern. We will definitely come back.

Great location in a picturesque Fachwerk town. Beautiful old inn, nice staff, very comfortable modernised bedrooms. We also ate here and the food and atmosphere was magnificent. The restaurant was full of locals, always a good sign. I thoroughly recommend this place.

The staff were all friendly and pleasant. The breakfast food was plentiful and dinner was really good. There were always a lot of diners so we were not the only ones who felt it was terrific. Very quiet location once you get used to the church bells— and surprisingly we did so quickly!

Parking was scarce but fine.

Nothing to add, other than parking is at a local carpark a 5 minute walk away. This is not a complaint, rather an observation.

The location was amazing, right in the centre of the old part of town and we had a wonderful view over the main terrace and of the church. As it was such a compact part of the city, there were great choices for restaurants within easy walking distance. The hotel had its own lively restaurant so we really were spoiled for choice. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was hearty and satisfying with a decent enough choice.

The price was a little higher than I was used to before covid, but perhaps this is just the new reality and the fact that it was a triple room. All in all, we were very happy with our stay.

We stayed in Hattingen while visiting friends nearby. The hotel was very comfortable, quiet and friendly. Great German style breakfast including boiled eggs and fresh rolls and meats and cheeses. The bar was a fun place to hang out in after we returned to the hotel. All staff was very friendly!!

There was absolutely nothing that was to be disliked!
