Amazingly cosy hotel a short walk from the centre of Hauenstein. Relaxing gardens and a great outside bar 🪴🍺. Free off-street parking was a big bonus as we were travelling by car 🅿️🚗 though spaces are limited. There are several EV chargers too. Room was clean with beautiful view of the hills. Breakfast was outstanding! Highly recommend ⭐️!

Room up two flights of steep stairs. Very old fashioned. There was a very small balcony and two chairs. Comfortable beds. Free parking. Food in the restaurant excellent despite the delays. Breakfast included.

Unfortunately there was a wedding reception in a private room, the same time as we were having dinner. So dinner was a long process, and staff not informing customers of the delays. No sufficient lighting in the room, it was very dark at the bed end of the room.

A quality hotel, well maintained, with an on-site restaurant which was excellent. Our room had a balcony and plenty of space. Style of hotel and rooms is traditional quality, which we appreciated. The bar drinks and the restaurant were both excellent with the food being a particular highlight and clearly prepared by a good chef who knows about quality ingredients and flavouring.

There was a little road noise which meant we had to sleep with the window/door closed (our room was at the front).

We're from New Zealand and speak very little German. The staff were great and were patient with us. Had a wonderful dinner. I'm a Coeliac and have an egg allergy and the chef made sure I could eat anything on the menu. I even had my own little breads pre dinner.

For us everything was fine.

Lovely location great rooms excellent food. Always welcoming helpful staff. That is why we stay here as a stopover on our way to and from our house in Italy.

We only ever stay the one night.

This is our fifth time staying at this hotel. We love it and it is our preferred choice when travelling through the area. Very clean and comfortable. Pet friendly. Staff always really helpful. We love that it has a restaurant on site and the food is exceptional. Breakfast likewise. Plenty of parking outside.

Slightly but lovely quirky room. Loads of space quiet. Food was excellent and not too expensive. Breakfast was a treat, great coffee. Just a stopover for us but great walking in the area. Super dog friendly. A little gem hidden away in the shoe town

Excellent location, brilliant value for money. We ate in the restaurant and enjoyed a wonderful meal. Very good breakfast that was included in the booking.

Lovely hotel with a great restaurant. We use it regularly as a stopover en route either to or from Italy. Wide choice of food for breakfast and the staff are always so friendly and helpful.

The food was excellent. We had booked the restaurant ahead of our stay and it was a good job. It was full. We had a lovely meal in lovely surroundings. We also had one of the best breakfasts of all time. Amazing to find this in a very non descript little village.
