We booked the room for our trip to Legoland, as birthday gift for our son who turned 11. I want to express my gratitude for the stuff helping me in organizing a memorable birthday. I contacted them in advance and they were very willing to help me with a cake for the dinner birthday (as a surprise after one day at Legoland). More than that, in the morning of his birthday, we had a table full decorated for my son, with balloons, a gift card handwritten and a Lego gift. My son was very very happy!!! The cake they prepared for us for the evening was over our expectations. I mean they were really attentive at my messages and it was a very big surprise for us to have Lloyd on the cake (for connoisseurs...). The stuff helped us again to share the cake with the children were there for dinner and the atmosphere created was very impressive for us, as the children were singing Happy Birthday for our son!!!! So, we spent a great great birthday far from home, but all this would not have been real without the kindness of the hotel stuff!! Thank you!! Thank You!! Thank You!! My son says that he wants next year to be at Schmid Hotel for his birthday ..:).

Our family room was nice and comfortable with good A/C. The view from the room was beautiful. The hotel has a wonderful pool area that we really enjoyed with our kids, and the sauna was also nice. We ordered dinner from the restaurant which was tasty, and breakfast was also good. Not a huge variety, but enough for us. Hotel was easy to find and had a nice parking area for our car. It was a great location to be close to both Augsburg and Legoland, which is exactly what we needed. We would recommend! We hope to return again someday.

It was all good and even nicer than we expected!

1. The flexibility. We arrived late, and the staff made its best to arrange that we could still use the bath with its facilities and still have dinner before the kitchen closes. 2. We also could stay a few hours more to benefit from the bath facilities after the breakfast. 3. The bath is quite comprehensive, we really enjoyed it. 4. Breakfast was great, quality and diversity. 5. The Biergarten was nice and very friendly. We really enjoyed the dinner. It was not the first time, and last year we enjoyed it so much that we asked to stay for another night.

Nothing, we really liked to stay here.

Very convenient location, close to motorway. Great breakfast buffet and great facilities for children - both in- and outside. The staff were helpful, we left some jackets behind by the playground, phoned the reception once we realised this, and they kindly collected them for us and kept them till our return 2 weeks later. Beautiful garden. Rooms were big enough and comfortable. The spa is also very nice.

The only inconvenience was when taking a shower, water was flowing out - I believe this is due to a flaw in the design of the shower/toilet pod, the sliding glass door does not insulate fully against water leakage.

The "beergarten". An amazing place where to eat and pass lovely moment with the family.

Th room was very hot from late evening to early morning due to warm climate of the last days. In addition the mattress is covered with a plastic sheet under the linen, make the sleep a little bit uncomfortable because the body parts in contact with this become drenched in sweat.

Excellent location, very close to the highway - perfect for staying overnight and enjoying good food, comfort and quietness. The accommodation is designed tastefully and modern. The staff is very attentive and helpful. The restaurant overlooking the garden creates a great felling of coziness and helps you thoroughly to relax. There is also a very generous breakfast in the morning.

nice, modern hotel with excellent restaurant, wonderful breakfast buffet and a very enjoyable swimming pool (because we were delayed on our trip we did not have time to try the sauna).

The only thing I can think of is the shower: the shower head cannot go up very high due to the water screen height. Me being 2 m tall, this meant hand-held showering.

Clean, employees, quiet, excellent breakfast (fruits, salmon,...), swimming pool, bar, the design in the lobby and the rooms is beautiful

There is one unique door for the shower and the toilet. They are next to each other and the door slips from one to the other. But then if you have shower you can't go to the toilet :-). Moreover, the water from the shower leaks to the toilet floor.... very inconvenient. Also the shutters open at 07AM wether you want it or not :-)

Nice pool area, comfortable beds, friendly staff, pleasant hotel in general

Breakfast is supposed to be served until 10, but many items aren't restocked after 9'ish. The toilet/shower set-up with the sliding glass door is ridiculous. Zero privacy, and pointless example of choosing design over functionality. Finally, charging 12 euro for charging a hybrid car is absurd imho, that's more expensive than just pumping gas.

O travelled with my 8 year old who loved the hotel. It's an exceptional hotel. The room was bigger than expected, the swimming pool amazing (at reception you can even ask for children's bathrobes and slippers) and the breakfast is worthy of a 5 star hotel. The staff is very nice I did not meet a single person who wasn't super helpful and kind.
