A very special place. Booked this last mintue (30 minutes before arriving) as our initial booked hotel looked rather scary. We were so glad to have discovered this gem and just a jump from the Autobahn. Although the rooms are not big (no mini-fridge or kettle etc) they make up for it in style with a decent-sized shower. Francisca at reception was kind enough to show us a couple of different rooms as we struggle to sleep with noise. She was beyond accomodating. Goes without saying that the room was immaculate. There are spa facilities here, but as it was just a quick overnight stay we didn't use any of those options. Also big thanks to Frankie in the restaurant - a breath of fresh air - she made us feel extremely welcome in the wonderful beer garden. As advertised the breakfast was a feast and good coffee too with even the choice of filter or espresso.

A great room in a great hotel with excellent food, both dinner and breakfast

The staff was exceptionally good, very friendly and polite It was a well positioned hotel and very clean. The bed was comfortable Great village for a walk around, nice church and a brook running by a path

Tiny bottle of water in the room on a very hot day The worst was the smell that the cleaning stuff probably apply believing that it's nice..it smelt of cheap aftershave and made me feel sick. I tried to air the room but the smell stayed on. The receptionist kindly gave me a fan which worked to a point The food was lovely and the beer garden too

The room was clean and the breakfast was delicious.

When we stayed at the hotel, a wedding party was being held on the premises. The loud music, cheering, and shouting continued past midnight, making it impossible to relax or sleep. Around 11 PM, we asked the front desk if anything could be done, but at that point, we were told we had no choice but to wait until the party was over. We were told that we would receive a discount at checkout as an apology, but when we actually checked out, no such discount was given. This experience left us with a very unpleasant memory of our stay.
