The view was great, looking over the entire valley. A great walkable location.

The breakfast was a madhouse. We got there at 9am and they ran out of food. The rooms are a trip back to 1968 - when the building was built, both in colors and furnishings. Very little parking availible on site.

shower head was way too economical. 1 Cafee machine was always out of order, another was almost dead and made pretty odd coffee

Easy-to-find location, near the center of Idar with grocery and dining options nearby. Staff was pleasant and helpful at checkin. There was a secure place to leave our bicycle overnight. We were directed to call the emergency number in the morning to have someone unlock the kiosk where the bike was stored. This went about as I expected, requiring a little patience as the desk is not staffed in the morning. Kudos to the chef in the dining area who helped us when no one was answering the emergency number on the first few rings. The room was very big. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast had all the offerings and pleasant staff.

Nothing. The hotel is older and nothing fancy, but it is clean and well-situated.
