Location is amazing! surrounded by nature, can go directly on to hiking, 20 minute drive to Schloss Wernigerode. Breakfast was superb, plenty of variety for all tastes and really nicely setup. We travelled with our little ones, we had a large room, separate room for the kiddies. The televisions on each room and are modern enough to be able to use any cable for us to watch our own programs. Complimentary water in room (we arrived very late, was grateful to have water to drink). Clean and very comfortable rooms, love no smoking rooms.

I had sent information when I had initially booked that we will be arriving late (I was informed that was not the case but I do have proof of this message). Just for reassurance purposes I had resent message on the day of our arrival again and got a call back right away, and received all details for our arrival (Where our keys would be at, code, room). A concerning feeling, what could have happened if I had not been proactive and re-sent information. I would suggest to the hotel to check-up on guests coming in late, check messages, send an email to customers in case of late arrival, what to do and all details. Everything was ok at the end, no issues... just some awareness.

Nice spacious room and the breakfast buffet was excellent. We ate our evening meat there as well and it was very good. It was located on the edge of town in the forest, so quiet and peaceful

The last km the road was quite narrow, one-way traffic. Only had to pull off once for the garbage truck

Modern, spacious and clean room . Nice location with excellent view from both the room and the restaurant veranda. Very rich breakfast. Lots of parking place. Perfect Wifi connection. Reasonable price.

If only the room curtains were darker... A guy from the restaurant - bar staff was rather impolite, but the rest of the staff was nice and helpful.

Quiet place - at some distance from neighbouring houses and surrounded by trees. Very big and comfortable room. Excellent breakfast. Parking.

although our stay was short, we were welcomed warmly and were surprised at the quality of our experience. We would have loved to stay longer, and will keep this hotel as a good place to return to. Very worth the visit.

My partner and I have had a beautiful stay for a night. We came to walk and enjoy the scenery but were pleasantly surprised by the lovely location and friendly staff who looked after us. I would not hesitate to book again.

We had to pay 10 euro for hot water that we wanted to take with us in a flaks.the staff didn't tell us about this extra charge.

The rooms were spacious. No Air-conditioning.very hot for the time of year we visited. Food excellent staff excellent location excellent. All in all Excellent !

A beautiful and very peaceful place with a great view. The breakfast was fabulous!

Unfortunately the restaurant was closed, and also the pool-table. But we went to Goslar and found a nice restaurant and got to see that beautiful city, so it wasn’t that bad after all.

Our room was right above the restaurant so it was quite loud in the morning. The curtains are basically just for decoration, not dark at all.
