A small but nice home hotel. The breakfast is excellent and the boss is very nice and polite. The room and the hotel look very new. There are a lot of free parking places. It is very near to the research center in Julich.

The bed is too soft for me. The coffee machine in the room doesn't work. The water heater in the common area doesn't work either. There is no toiletries. available. The restaurant is closed on Monday unfortunately.

My staying at Kronenhof hotel was fantastic. The room was very clean and the hotel personnel very polite. The location of hotel is suitable for those who like running and riding bicycle (close to forest and fields). It has my full recommendation.

The sunday breakfast was simply incredible! Clean, large,well maintained room. Very nice stay!

The room was quite spacious and newly renovated. The location is great for visiting the Forschungzentrum Jülich if you have bike or you like to walk. It's a beautiful walk/bike through the fields and 15 minutes by bike or 30 mins on foot. To the city center it is 10-15 mins by bike and 30 mins on foot. The breakfast includes buns (Brötchen), cheese and ham (on the same plate), and sweet spreads. Coffee and tea is offered as well. The hotel has a restaurant attached to it which offers mostly meat dishes in the evenings.

While the rooms are new, the bathroom is a bit older. The bar holding the shower head fell towards me when I tried to grab the shower head. Fortunately, it was fixed right after I mentioned it. I also mentioned that the coffee machine was moldy (not only mine, but also that of my co-worker) and that a dirty coffee mug was waiting for me in the room. The water tank was cleaned but I could still see the red stains from before. The coffee mug was never cleaned or replaced. Note that you need to stick to your breakfast plans (they ask you to give a time when you want breakfast) as five minutes after my 30min window the door was closed and no one was there anymore. If you are a vegetarian, the restaurant might not be the best choice for the evening and you might need to ask for a separate cheese plate at breakfast if you are concerned with it having touched meat.
