A very pleasant hotel and I liked the large multistorey car park opposite the hotel.

There was a mix-up on my part, and I ended up paying for three nights when I only needed two. There was no flexibility or ability to refund even though I notified them of my mistake many weeks before the booking.

Great location, secure free parking nearby. Given pass code for front door and bedroom by text so didn't actually meet staff till we were leaving but that suited us. Clear instructions given for self check in. Exceptionally large room, very clean. Excellent breakfast up to 10.30am, great for lazy lie in's. Nice restaurants near hotel.

Lots of work going on in town after floods last year, happy to contribute to economy and hope to get back again next year to see progress. No bar in hotel, just a vending machine, foyer space limited and not conducive to sitting in. Maybe restaurant area could be used in evening.

We stayed for one night on our way from Aachen and the hotel is well located to explore the beautiful city of Stolberg. The check in was easy with a code provided to you per email in case you arrive late. The staff were friendly and polite. The bed was quite good.

Unfortunately, it was noisy. We could hear all the noise from the hallway and neighboring rooms (including those you’d prefer not to hear). There is scaffolding around the building and the works started before 8am in the morning, so no chance to sleep.

Nothing critical. But I would have liked to have a kettle in the room. The hair dryer is hotel standard (just in case this is important for someone). There is no safe.

Staff super nice, big bedroom, clean, quite, free parking in underground parking lot in front of the hotel, breakfast very good, the old city is super nice, just 5 min walk and you are on top of the castle! With restaurants & bars and Kinosummer :-)

Breakfast was lovely and free parking.

+ Free parking in closed parking garage + Very modern room (better than pictures) + Jacuzzi bathtub was sooo luxirious with bubbles, jets and in-built light and speakers (!) + Very good breakfast. Lots of fresh bread, fruit, vegetables, eggs etc.

Nice hotel in the ancient city. Family atmosphere :-)

Great respect before the hotel reopens after the floods, but the hotel would still deserve an overhaul :-(
