Great menu for food and reasonable prices too. Wonderful location on the outskirts of the city but buses run every 10 mins and the bus stop is right outside the hotel. Aachen is a place to amble through, lots of small streets and the shopping was fabulous. We left our car in the large carpark. Quite safe. Our room was quite big considering the prices, well laid out and quiet after the restaurant closes at 9.30. Definitely a place worth returning to even just for the food!

Noisy delivery trucks early in the morning if you happen to be on that side of the hotel.

Large room which looked like it had just been decorated- light and airy. As we thought we were some distant from the centre we decided to eat in their restaurant. Well patronised by I assume locals. We both had a lovely meal the outside areas were also neat and tidy. It was a sunny day when there and it was very pleasant sitting outside. The breakfast was more than sufficient with quite a wide selection and with typical strong German coffee. Must also mention the staff were also first class and very helpful As we stay in Aachen every year and have stayed in a variety of not so good places. This will be our go to one in future

My wife has limited mobility and whilst they warned us on booking there is no lift, so that was a bit of a challenge but one well worth taking against all the positives. Not a complaint more information - if putting the address in a sat nav include the building number. We just put in town and postcode and at the flag was surrounded by trees. Solved by adding the house number.

Personnel was very attentive and cordial. The room was big and light. There is a bus stop next to the hotel that takes you straight to the city center. They have ample parking space for free. We could park our motorbike under a roof, very nice as it rained that night so it was dry in the morning.

Staff's English was quite limited, but this is a general problem we found in Germany. No air conditioning. In addition , the restaurant has a terrace right below the rooms, which may be a bit annoying if you want to go to bed early. The positive is that it closes at 22h, so after that it is quite.

Nice welcome. Very nicely presented German breakfast . Loved the newly renovated rooms.The bathrooms were cool and elegant. We loved the terrace,restaurant and lovely servers.The food was wonderful.

The hotel is on a main road,anda few lorries made the beds rattle!Closing the window did the trick,and we were still comfortable in the huge,well ventilated room. We slept very well indeed on firm beds.

Great restaurant with friendly staff. The breakfast was good. Good parking facilities on site. The location is good with local trails. The rooms were well equipped, clean and comfortable.

Strong smell of cigarettes drifted into one of our rooms from smokers outside the back entrance. No air conditioning.

The hotel is well-located on a bus route into Aachen and suitable for exploring the wider area. The restaurant and its staff were excellent.

The only niggle for us, were the stairs to the rooms, which are quite steep, but staff are on hand to help with luggage.

This was our 2nd visit to this hotel as we stayed here last November. The location of the hotel is on the outskirts of the city, good for local walks and the bus stop to the town centre is very close by and the fare is cheap. The rooms had all been newly decorated and were very clean and comfortable. Check in was straightforward and the receptionist was polite.

The breakfast was disappointing as the eggs were cold and the other items were ok but basic.

Restaurant super nice, super nice staff. Staff speaks only German, but they still tried to accommodate me. Dogs allowed in hotel and restaurant. Many hikes pass through, reservation for restaurant recommended

Perfect breakfast. Great location near Aachen with own parking. Good atmosphere. Good restaurant.
