Secure parking at the extra cost of €10, lovely, friendly staff, free upgrade, comfortable, airy quiet room - thank you! We have stayed on numerous occasions before and will return.

Breakfast is mediocre and not really worth the money. The choice is quite limited, the quality on the lower side. When we arrived, just gone 9am (breakfast is offered until 10am), the trays were depleted, we had to ask for ham and wait for rolls to be baked. No hot food apart from a couple of hard boiled eggs and the bananas were definitely past their best... we experienced the same during our previous stays - such a shame because apart from breakfast the hotel is really very good! Please improve!!

Good location in city centre. Spacious room. Bedroom very clean. Staff very helpful.

Air conditioning not working in bedroom. No vending machines to buy hot drinks after reception closed even though posters around hotel stated facilities were available. Bathroom could have been cleaner.

Friendly reception. Clean room and bathroom. Newly renovated.

Waiting quite a while in a queue to check-in. Machine to check in was out of order and single receptionist had to handle all necessary check-in duties.

The room was wonderful and the breakfast was great.

The car parking was a disaster, I am disabled and there is no lift from the car park to reception. We found a lift but this went to the flats above and then we found we could not get back into the car park, so were trapped in the stairwell. We had to call our Son who was in reception to come and let us out. we then had to come back out of the car park up the in ramp and go round to the main entrance to get in.

The desk staff were incredibly helpful both before we arrived and when we were there, Excellent. Enjoyed our breakfast . Our room was comfy and the bathroom perfectly adequate, , Cleaning staff again friendly and helpful.

We would have liked better coffee in the room, nescafe and not powdered milk. Also it would be nice to be able to get coffee or tea or even a drink when we get back from a day out without it being in our room, Even a coffee machine and a soft drinks machine . It would just make the hotel feel more friendly.

Room was bigger than we expected. Breakfast was a typical German style breakfast ie bread rolls, good selection of meat and cheese as well as boiled and scrambled eggs,sausage and bacon. Also plenty cereals and yogurt. Service was excellent. Located in the. Old town just around the corner from the market square where are located many bars and restaurants. Car parking was secure….it’s under the hotel.

Would have been nice to be able to get a cup of coffee during the day apart from breakfast time.

For a last minute reservation the price was excellent. Only a night stay, so not able to say much. Friendly personnel, adequate breakfast, totally black out curtains and clean.

Well, at least the room was given was opposite a busy bar (until 2am) which could have been a case of disturbance, if I wasn’t so tired that fell immediately asleep. Also, did not notice air conditioning, just a fan, so for hot days might be an issue. Of course the above are not to “blame” the hotel. One area that could be suggested for improvement is the Coffee served in breakfast, which was very average taste.

The staIff were very friendly and helpful, and the lady that was there went out of her way to offer things to me and my son at breakfast. When we arrived we were given a cold bottle of water which was very welcome. There is a secure garage to park your car, and water and a washer if you wish to wash your windscreen. I had to pay for the garage, but not much. The wifi worked well and the room was quiet.

The hotel is quite old and some parts could do with freshening up, but nothing bad.

The environment

To park car is difficult if they can provide free car park for customers it will be great.

The room was large, the bed comfortable, there was secure underground parking, and the breakfast was OK. It was near the town centre. The guy on the counter was friendly.

No bar!! The bathroom was sevicable and clean but the angle of the shower (with no shower door) resulted in spray over the sink, toiletries etc.
