I stayed here for the Scotland Hungary game at Euro 24. I had a single room in the main building for 4 nights. The hotel is of traditional German feel, very refreshing as my other hotels were more 'chain' types. I loved the feel of the hotel and if you want a more local experience then i would highly recommend. The room was spotless, a decent size and the bed was super comfy. Breakfast was in a truly beatifull breakfast room, plenty of choice mostly continental. During my stay the restaurant and bar were not open, i think due to staffing issues. But there is a pub at the end of the street and a great german restaurant 50m from the hotel door. The town is very quiet with a few shops and cafes dotted around. Some nice churches and buildings add to the ambience of the place. 5 minutes walk and you are walking in some lovely countryside, so peaceful. The train station is a nice 20 minute stroll though a mostly pedestrian path, then 20 mins by train and you are in the centre of Stuttgart. All the staff i met were very helpfull and made me feel very welcome. If you want a lovely peaceful break, with access to a great city on your doorstep you will not go wrong booking this hotel. Thanks to all who made my break fab.

Mabye a lock on the outside terrace door, so that no one locks you out of the hotel by mistake, like me lol (rectified quickly by the staff i might add).

Loved all the connection possibilities and near buy grocery, as well as small dining options. PERFECT quiet stay.

German hotel pillows.

Ambient was great, tipical German. really close to Stuttgart. Breakfast was great.

It was bit chilly and it took quite some time for heating to start working. Parking spots are limited so if you come late in the day you might have to park on the street. In our case hotel staff helped us to find alternative spot.

Straight forward check in, parking space available, breakfast was pretty good and staff were all polite, the bed was comfortable, an invoice was emailed quickly on request afterwards (for tax).

There was an extremely strong smell of cigarette smoke around the entrances to both buildings, and people were just hanging around outside smoking a lot of the time. Walking through that was off putting and unpleasant and not something I've come across in other places I've stayed. The little kitchen was redundant because there wasn't so much as a fork supplied let alone a kettle or pan or plate, although that didn't matter it was very odd!
