I arrived quite late and they were very ready to accommodate this. The breakfast was a traditional German breakfast with very fresh bread rolls, and most importantly, real coffee (which is becoming much less common with the proliferation of self-service coffee machines at hotels. The bar and restaurant are clearly used by locals. which is a good sign. (Staff and customers most friendly, though I had some slight communication difficulties following the local BW accent.

There was no one in reception. This was quite understandable as it was late evening when I arrived, but somewhat unexpected when checking out around 0930. Accordingly I made the mistake of assuming the room would be charged to my credit card and. We were able to solve this later over the phone, but it was an irritation I would have preferred to avoid.

Very cosy.

The usual excellent Jaegerhaus experience, only mildly spoiled by low-season room refurb and decorations works. Great breakfast, superb bed and linens. I will surely be back!

lift not working

Great location for a stop over when traveling through Germany. Not recommended for a longer stay.

The restaurant food left to be desired.

Lovely location I remember from my childhood and going for important family does in the restaurant. We stayed about 13 years ago where the decor was of such amazing quality as was the food that you happily forgave the seventies time warp. Been done up since but the quality was less good and already worn. Frequented by travelling sales men getting up at half five setting of the fire alarm with a quickie fag in the en-suite well….. Dinner was so old fashioned it was grand (70ies) breakfast unfortunately wasn’t that great in those days. Would we go back. Yes the price was the same as in a premier in on the way and included breakfast and windows that opened- great in a heatwave.
