Loved the location. Nice neighborhood, little grocery store right across the street. Our unit had a nice little kitchen so we could cook.They had a shower chair for me.💕 The best part about this place...the owners... Super helpful and kind. I was worried because I only speak a few words of German. They spoke fluent English. This put my mind at ease as I was stressing about my German. Also, I don't do heat. They found an extra fan for me.💜 This made a huge difference for me. I would definitely stay here again. My husband and son agree.👍🥰

The owners are helpful, kind and flexible. The bed was comfortable. The room and the bathroom was clean and roomy. We went with dog, it costs 10 €/night but it was ok for us. We leave him in the room for a day and they doesn't bother him. The breakfast was nice, if you want sausage or egg they make it fresh for you.

There was a roadwork in the street and we can't park in the place's own parking lot but we gave a map and a short description about the nearest free street parking.

I stayed here the night before I was flying home, which worked out perfectly to get to STR the next morning. Google maps made it easy to find, the parking situation was a little awkward! But I basically pulled all the way up and then backed into a spot. This was the one time I was glad to have a tiny rental car! The host was not on location but quickly answered and told me what to do.

There is a "master" power switch by the front door! It is marked, I was not familiar with the word and didn't think anything of it at first.. After I settled in, I couldn't get the TV on. Weird. ok, I connected to the WiFi and streamed from my tablet. Then the lights weren't turning on. No outlet had power. I had no idea why! I read through the guest book, no instructions on what to do. I could not figure out how to call locally on the phone :( I was stressing out... and then I noticed the marked switch by the front door and thought to give it a try - sure enough, it turned all the power on to the room. The host did NOT mention this when I arrived.

The hosts were very gracious and friendly. The breakfast choices are limited, however the proprieter offered to cook us fresh omelettes each morning. The apartment we stayed in had a big refrigerator, cooking utensils, a coffee maker, and everthing else needed for a nice home away from home. A grocery store and excellent restaurant/gelateria are right across the street. The guesthouse is in a nice, quiet walkable neighborhood.

The beds are a little uncomfortable, but all in all the place exceeded our expectations. Our only true criticism is the parking area. You have to drive up a steep ramp in the back of the building and then maneuver through a VERY tight space to park the vehicle. It is doable but beware if you are driving here. Thankfully, there are lots of public transportation options nearby.

Appreciated last minute booking. Staff were very helpful with train schedules and directions. Breakfast was great

No elevator and we had heavy luggage. Parking is difficult above so choose below when able. Room had bedside lamp that heated up severely and you could see burn mark in wood headboard. From previous guests. Think they should remove this for safety

The apartment we took was very clean and had everything we needed for a family with children. There is grocery's just across the street, so you can buy some food and cook yourself or breakfast can be served in the hotel. Ideal for staying over night during a long car trip.

nothing to complain about, everything was great! a bit noisy during the night if keeping windows open.

Staff were very friendly.. breakfast was lovely and location was good for a car and bus stops was a little bit out from centre of stuttgart which was easily done on bus....there was self service pay later beer service available this was a bonus and a very nice touch.

No tea coffee making in room as left too early for breakfast.

Spacious apartment, well outfitted with everything you could need - even a fan! The hosts evenprovided coffee, creamer, and sugar as well as other kitchen necessities. Supermarket and bakery right across the streer were very convenient.

Parking was a bit tricky and there was a lot of noi5from nearby businesses early evert morning.

Andrea and Michael who run the Gasthof bring a personal touch to the guesthouse. They are charmimg hosts and most helpful. Breakfast is cooked to order and is delicious. Though the Gastehause is outside Stuttgart it is in Zone One and public transport into the city is excellent. The on site parking is a great bonus.

The traffic can be noisy but we would definitely stay there again

This was a really good find. We just needed a stopover with two bedrooms as there was 3 people in our party. The apartment was perfect for us. It was warm spacious and comfortable. Hosts Andrea and Michael were both so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. They even had an evening meal menu which had enough choice to satisfy us after a long drive from Rotterdam. Breakfast was great too.
