Great value! Rooms were very comfortable, clean, and the staff were extremely professional and courteous, and the breakfast was also very good. Location is a an advantage. Esslingen is a charming town, well situated near Stuttgart. We enjoyed the Cannstatter Volksfest in Stuttgart - the hotel is within easy walking distance to the train station and less than 15 minute train ride to the stop adjacent to the festival grounds.

Only part of our stay I did not care for was the lack of parking space at the hotel. However, this was not a major detractor. You can unload at the hotel entrance and there is a public parking garage a few hundred meters from the hotel at the Küferstrasse/Altstadt location. Parking is not expensive.

The hotel offers an excellent location, allowing access to all the important attractions, at a very reasonable price because it is not luxurious. The room we received was exceptionally spacious, extremely clean, and had basic furniture that was well-maintained and actually met all our needs and beyond. The staff was very courteous and helpful, and the breakfast was rich, delicious, served with care, in a pleasant atmosphere - you absolutely must not miss it.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

It was so welcoming and inviting. Right when we walked inside, we felt at home. The layout was comfortable, the outside patio overlooking the canal was charming. Excellent place for bike storage and the breakfast was delicious. The staff we interacted with with extremely friendly and personable. Thank you Manu!

Value for price is good. The shower was perfect. Breakfast was okay, as expected for the price. It was perfect for what i was looking for, for just one night. The staff was absolutely perfect, kind and accommodating.

Bed wasn't comfortable, the mattress was too soft and thin. It was very hot, no AC, there was a small fan.

The staff was amazing, even recommending free parking spots. I enjoyed the cleanliness of the whole hotel. The rooms were big and the breakfast was more than acceptable for the price. I also liked the fact that they took my request for separate beds. In general I was very pleased with my stay at Ecoinn.

I would enjoy to have spare pillows already available in the room. (After asking in the reception they were handed in the room in a few minutes).

We really liked the availability at the front desk, the receptionists are doing a great job. Very good breakfast and large rooms, both double and single. We asked for rooms in a quite side of the building and we were not bothered by any sound from the outside (there is a cinema/bar nearby). The location is in the middle of Hochschule departments basically.

Yes, it is true that room should be renovated and the feeling is an hostel but it did not bother us. Mattresses were too soft though.

We had a large double bed and a single bed, both very comfortable. Good view from our windows of the river and small park. Our room was spotlessly clean and shiny. Shower was good with quite good space. Breakfast was usual continental, cereals, cheese, meats ,eggs boiled n scrambled, rolls, bread, toast tea n coffee + more. Our room was so quiet, we slept very well. As usual with many cheaper German hotels no coffee facilities in room but available always in reception area. Reception closes at 22.00 but you get in with keycard. The old town (Altstadt) is 3 mins walk away. The town has many beautiful buildings and restaurants in the main square (try Armonia if you like greek food with a German twist, fabulous!). We used the 122 bus from airport straight to Esslingen 2.90 euro Hohneschule stop.

One tiny thing, window by the single bed didn't have the thick drapes as with the other windows. If we had asked I'm sure they would put some in but it didn't bother us.

Location is top - next to the city center, so you can just reach it by foot; Disadvantage is an absence of the parking place so we had to leave the car at paid parking which is also at some distance from the hotel (but manageable)

Faster replenishment of empty dishes during the breakfast. So you don't need to wait long till the refill of the stocks of veggies or eggs.

Clean and obviously the eco effort the place was attempting. Nice balcony overlooking the water. Tidy rooms, good shower. Some pleasant staff.

Check in at 15.00 hrs was ridiculous! No residents bar, all facilities shut late on despite knowing lots of guests were out at the same event. TV in rooms was pretty poor re the selection of channels.

Location. Staff was a bit hot and cold. The lady we encountered during our stay and when we checked out was absolutely lovely, and happy to help.
