- curtains were ineffective in blocking sunrays, in the early morning there was already full light. - noisy due to traffic just in front of the room, even if the good quality windows helped in reducing the noise. - staff is available onsite only when the restaurant is open (e.g. not in the morning) - small room and small desk

The staff was super friendly to me. The room was clean and modern, and had everything necessary for a short stay. The hotel is located conveniently near a train station. Across the street there is a nice coffee shop. No pre-payment and the value for money is great.

The street can be quite noisy on weekend nights. The bed wasn't the most comfortable. My room was pretty small, which is fine for a single person, but I wouldn't recommend it for families or couples.

Overall a very comfortable and nice stay in a hotel which is located on the side of Cologne. Location is still decent as it is not far from the Köln-Holweide train station (15 min. by walk) or you can take underground from "Maria-Himmelfahrt-Str." (5 min. by walk) to go to Mülheim train station. I booked this hotel as I went to Leverkusen which is very close. It is a small hotel but had everything I needed. Modern well designed typical hotel room. Great bonus was a nice restaurant of the hotel. Had a great juicy steak. Waiting time just 15 min. which was handy before the match.

Small disadvantage is (can be) the fact that it is next to the road which even during the night cars pass by. But it is very bearable with closed windows. Road during the night is also not that frequent.

The location of the hotel is perfect. It takes 4 min by walk to reach the trains station and 25 min to the city center by train.On top of that the surroundings of the hotel is quite lovely. A small bike tour around the hotel in the morning would probably brings all the good vibes into your morning. The hotel stuff is so kind they are giving a lot of efforts in order to solve your problems. Additionally, the first thing you will notice when you enter the hotel will probably smell of cleanliness. Completely clean rooms and beds will make your stay even more peaceful.

rooms are well decorated and well kept, the bed was super comfy bathrooms were all immaculate, with super powerful shower. aome of the best connections i have had in a hotel, just around the cornee from a tram stop and 10 minute walk to a trainsration, adsolutely amazing place.

i didnt spot a sign to hang on the door somewhere to alert the cleaner not to enter. this wasnt a problem as you can mitigate it with leaving your key in the door.

The Room was big and very clean. Good setup and a very high quality beds. The room had very good isolation and was very quiet. There is a restaurant in the same building and we had late lunch and it was very good. The portions are BIG and tasty. A specially the home made rakia! You should ask for the RAKIA. A must try! The train station is 5 minutes walk and it takes you to the Koelnmesse.

contactless check-in was very easy, makes the check-in independent from your time of arrival the room was bigger than i expected, cleaness was ok there was an electric kettle with some tea and coffee in the room which i really liked

it was very loud in the night and especially in the morning. we had to keep our windows open because it was very hot while we stayed there, but the street is right in front of the room so we couldn't get enough sleep

Attached to very good restaurant. Bathroom, although shared, very close to my room and very clean and tidy. Clear instructions for checking in, even though no staff present.

Room small, in attic, with low headroom over bed. No coffee or tea, even though there was a kettle! Shared bathroom. Difficult to find someone to pay for my room, as staff shared with busy restaurant.

Perfect location for getting the S-Bahn to the Koln Messe (4 minute walk) and room had everything I needed for work including desk and usb ports whilst wifi was adequate. Their restaurant was fantastic, quaint with excellent German/Croatian menu with fast service and very reasonable prices. Will happily return next year.

Cheaper dorm beds were almost sold out in other hostels during the time I was there, so I took a single bed room with private toilet here. Happy that I made that upgrade, as it is clean and comfy enough for my needs. Nothing fancy to the room, just basic appliances - water boiler, hair dryer and TV. No A/C but it was surprisingly cooler indoors after a warm day outside. Humble, quaint place with grocery stores and bakeries nearby. The tram to the center is less than 5 mins walk away. My room was facing the street with cars and passerbys, but it's not a party area and a pair of earplugs did the job well. Staff was helpful and the instruction to get the keys and returning them was easy.

My bed was a little too soft for my preference, but I still has good sleep overall :)
