We stayed one night on our way to Austria. The hotel is conveniently located close to the motorway and far enough not to be auditable. The staff was so friendly- they knew exactly who we were when we arrived and our communication before the stay was perfect. We had a table booked at the restaurant and the food was really good- which also goes for the breakfast. We charged our car easily in the basement and were ready for a long days drive.

Rooms are a bit worn but clean, nice and spacey.

The staff was kind and helpful. The location of the hotel is a bit far from the city center but the neighborhood is calm and quiet. The room was clean, we appreciated the complimentary water and sweets, it was a very nice gesture. The breakfast was great, there was plenty of options to choose from and the staff was very helpful. In addition, there was a free car park next to the hotel which was pretty convenient for us.

The room was spacious for family of 4 with older kids. The breakfast was rich, offered lactose free and gluten free items on request. Scrambled or fried eggs where also done upon request which made them super fresh. Hotel was rather small, in a quiet location with free parking. The distance from the city centre was about 30 minutes by tram and the stop 5 mins away from the hotel. Hotel has a restaurant but we had no opportunity to taste it. I would definitely recommend.

I booked several rooms for a large family gathering in Leipzig and Hotel Hiemann was top notch on every level. The rooms were modern, clean and spacious. The maisonette rooms were perfect for families with two children. The hotel offered free parking and a sauna. There is a gym next door, which can be also used be at a discounted rate. The hotel has a cozy restaurant, which caters for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had a family event with 30+ people. The hotel staff reserved a function room for us and prepared the most amazing buffett, with a large variety of delicious hot & cold dishes. The entire staff ar this family-run hotel was extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful. The hotel is within close proximity to 'Leipzig Messe' (Leipzig fair) and only 15 min away from the city centre. It is easy to reach by car and public transport (bus, train, tram) I highly recommend Hotel Hiemann and definitely will stay there again during my next Leipzig visit.

I was in hotel Hiemann with my husband and friends, we came to Euro2024. The stay was great, hotel is not in the city centre but with car it is 10min driving straight and it is really easy to go to city center. The stuff is kind, the lady in the reception was great! Rooms are big and absolutely enough for two nights stay.

There is not air conditioner, only the cooling fan. And the smell in the room can be a little bit fresher.

I need to tell you that this hotel really surpassed all my expectations about customer service. Firstly, when we came to breakfast almost at its end because of the stressful morning, the personnel hasn't told us that you're too late but instead allowed us to stay and offered us a coffee. Then we were allowed to stay longer to have some rest. Moreover, I forgot my headphones bag in the room and then found it but I haven't told it to the cleaning person, so he found me in the restaurant, informed me about it and asked, if it was me who took it. The hotel itself is far from the city centre but if you travel by car, it's not a problem at all. The hotel has enough parking places and a garage as well. The restaurant is really good. We enjoyed all our meals. The room was quiet. Also on the 3rd floor there is a comfortable corner with sofa and armchair where you can seat. The room was well equipped and has enough space for 2 people.

Mosquito nets would be a great addition to windows.

Location was great in relation to travel along the motorway. The hotel is better than the photos suggest. I used the parking garage underground which was great for a car full of bags and cases. The restaurant offered freindly service and good food for a small local hotel. The room was big, lots of daylight, great bed. I would not hesitate to stay again or to recommend to firends.

Breakfast could be improved on. Especially the coffee and fresh fruit.

The family rooms are dublex. So the kids have their own space. Room was comfortable and spacious and clean. Reception staff was nice and helpful. Free parking. I would recommend.

I was not aware that we have no air-conditioning in the room. It could be my fault as I did not check this detail in advance. On the other hand the temperature was higher than usual in Germany.
