Personally, I didn't take breakfast because I left early in the morning. But they had a large open space near the reception where they served breakfast. About the room: it was really spacious and had good natural light :) the pillows and bed were very comfy The place was clean enough and the bathroom had good ventilation. Location: the hotel is close to a renting car company, so for us, it was perfect. There are also some bus stops nearby, in case you wish to check the city centre, but distances are not big, so walking is also ok.

We received a very warm welcome when we arrived which instantly made us feel at home. The room was spotlessly clean, with hanging space for clothes, a luggage rack, great TV and a radiator that could easily be adjusted. Beds were comfortable and not as hard as concrete (like so many German beds). Perfect for an overnight stay. The breakfast was exceptional - you could plainly see that so much thought and care had been put into it and great value. Will definitely stay again when we are in the area.

The room was perfect for a short stay, but would have been tight space wise, if we had had larger suitcases. The bathroom was well designed but again quite small. My husband complained that the lighting wasn't very bright and would have been an issue if he'd had to work, but on this trip we didn't spend long enough in our room for it to be a problem.

Smart and tidy hotel on the outskirts of town near the motorway. Clean, bright and airy room with everything we needed. We had asked for a room on the ground floor, which we got, so that was great. Town centre is just a few minutes drive away; good as there is no evening meal served here, but several restaurants in town. It would take about 30 minutes to walk, however. Pretty good breakfast.

Twin bed rooms only on the upper floors, which was a little bit of an obstacle for elderly ladies accompanying us

Room was spacious and comfortable, clean and well presented. The breakfast was awesome, great choices and superb coffee. There were quite a lot of guests on this visit but the staff responded really well and were superb. On checking in the gentleman who checked us in remembered me, I was amazed at that as how many guests must he have checked in, in the mean time. Would recommend this hotel to anyone and we will definitely be staying again.

Everything was superb

This is our 2nd stay at Hotel Montana, so we knew what to expect. Very clean and tidy. Very helpful, staff with good English. Good breakfast spread and secure parking for motorcycles. Short walk into town. We'll be back, for sure

Maybe a 15 minute walk from the beautiful town centre. A real gem in Germany with lots of old authentic bars and restaurants.

WiFi in room was poor but staff changed room to help the situation

Clean, comfortable, quiet. Convenient location. Reasonable price for a basic hotel.

Lack of a lounge - nowhere to sit in the evening. Unable to get tea or coffee. Towels thin. Not enough coat hangers.

Total Lack of night table in room next to bed for watch, tissues, water, medications. I had to use the chair! I would have preferred a less wide bed, but with a night table!

During check in I wasn't told any details regarding check out, breakfast or where my room is, had to ask each thing specifically. Never experienced this before.
