Basic hotel that is obviously an annex to the more modern Hotel Looken next door. Excellent breakfast/value at the Hotel Looken. Ample/safe parking in enclosed courtyard car park between the hotels. Pleasant/helpful staff in the adjoining hotel.
Basic unlocked/unmanned annex that is in need of major refurbishment which appears to be used more by the inhouse Italian Restaurant, which we used one night and was a very pleasant place with excellent/good value food. We stayed for two nights without the room being cleaned which suited us. The room had an extremely dangerous step down into the ensuite where we had to place a towel on the door entrance floor to remind us not to stumble.

It's right it in the city. Easy access to shopping and groceries. 10 min walk to the Rewe. The room was so neat and clean. The staff were so friendly. The morning breakfast was delicious!
There was no mini fridge.

I tripped going to the room. There was a step up which was not marked. I hurt my knee and it hurts very badly now. I should have complained at the time. I did not know how bad I was hurt at the time.
