During our stay, we had the unique advantage of the hotel being almost empty. This allowed us to enjoy peace and quiet, as well as the staff's dedicated attention. The rooms we were assigned were situated on the quieter side of the hotel, and the breakfast offered a good variety that was both satisfying and enjoyable.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was very clean. The breakfast was good, with lots of choices. They have a nice bar on sight and it was nice to sit there with some colleagues. If you have a chance, the palace and gardens are a MUST SEE. (around a 25 minute walk from the hotel)

To reach the market square ( main downtown) you need to walk @ 20 minutes. There are not many restaurants right near the hotel except one really good Swabish one (Zum Urigen) which is right around the corner. The furnishings in the room are pretty basic, but they have everything you need.

Its a small hotel being run by a middle aged couple who are extremely nice and courteous...they were currently understaffed but whoever was there is really nice and helpful. The hotel is newly renovated...we had booked 2 double rooms, on request they were next to each other. There is private parking place outside the hotel, cannot be reserved but we were lucky enough to get a place for our car. The location is a big plus point, its just 10mins walk to the ludwigsburg castle and the main market center...we did not require any public transport at all...the city center and castle grounds are actually best accessible walking. The rooms are very neat and clean and comfortable...our rooms did not have heatings yet installed so on asking the owner immediately brought us two heating units in the room which was perfect. The beds and mattresses I found to be comfortable as well! On arrival one finds a 2 bottles of water in the room. There is no coffee maker, water cooker or fridge in the room though but I feel it might be due to renovation under process. The owner is so nice that She offered the kids another 2 bottles, chips and peanuts the next day on the house. Breakfast has a good variety...cut fruits, mortadella, eggs boiled and scrambled, different types of breads, coffee, tea, juices and highlight was the kakao they especially made for our daughter and made sure she gets it next morning as well 🥰 Check in and check out process are smooth...they even allowed us to leave the car parked after we checked out as we wanted to spend a few hours in the city before we left so they offered that instead of parking outside we leave the car there!! Overall we felt super comfortable and welcome in the hotel....its not only a neat and clean place but the highlight is the staff and the owners and their nature!! Would definitely return and recommend the hotel to all our friends visiting Ludwigsburg!! Thank you for ur hospitality!! 🥰

The bed was super comfortable, the room was very clean and the shower was excellent. Parking in the backyard was very convenient, and the manager was really friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The location is top-notch, I’d definitely come back!

Nice staff, nice new rooms and interior, easy check in, great location, private parking. Ok breakfast with ok choices, not the best ive ever had, but there was enough and plenty to choose from. And also a lovely lady who owns the place!

Just some stains on the curtain, but that was "the worst" part. Everything was really nice!

Arriving at night is a bit of a scary experience, in particular around Halloween. There is no reception, so doors are closed, hotel looks deserted. After calling a number, you are guided to the back side of the hotel, which is dark and only lights up after the sensors detect you. Then you have to get the key from a locker, and find your way yourself. Not having a reception might reduce costs, but I still would prefer to pay and see people when I get in a hotel, so I have the feeling somebody is around to help you in case needed.

Clean rooms, good location, parking available and super friendly staff. The staff is friendly, my wife forgot something in the room and they delivered to us. Good breakfast

The modesty and cleanliness of this hotel are its strong points. I've stayed here three times now and all visits were satisfying. The hotel has also great value for money, and you can park your car directly at the hotel's premises.

The free wi-fi did work, but the signal was not so good and stable in my room.

The Hotel was very good, it gives thw feeling of welcoming, the only disadvantage was the mattress was not that comfort. The Staff is very friendly
