Charming hotel, lots of amenities. Lovely big room with windows overlooking the river and old buildings and restaurants. Huge double bed, very clean. Soundproofed rooms meant for a good nights sleep even while the nightlife carried on outside. There were free soft drinks, and a bottle of beer in the minibar (the first night only) which was a great bonus as we were so thirsty after a long drive. Fabulous bathroom with a good power/rain shower. Good smelling shampoo and handwash. The staff were very helpful. We parked in the underground car park for a fee. Air-con worked well and was needed on a 34 degree day, 27 degree night in June! We sat on the terrace for breakfast in the morning, the sun was shining, it was fabulous and very quiet and relaxing. There was a really good spread of hot and cold buffet style dishes: eggs, bacon, sausages, pastries, breads, fruit, yoghurts, teas and coffees, cold meats, cheeses, overnight oats...the list goes on! Very close to all the riverside restaurants and old buildings. Piano music in the evening. Big bar and a nice lounge area.

This hotel was just wonderful in all respects. Amazing location, room, facilities and staff. The team was very helpful in advance about non-allergic bedding and check-in time. Having mentioned then that it would be my husband's birthday, the first thing the receptionist did on arrival was wish him a happy birthday, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was fabulous and there were complimentary snacks and drinks available in reception. Luneburg itself is gorgeous and you are right in the middle of it here - we would love to stay again, for longer.

I loved the location, right in the centre of Lunaberg. Rooms were well equipped and clean, mine had a beautiful view of the city.

The service was really poor. The staff were unhelpful, some of them plain rude. I had requested in writing for our two rooms to be together and was told my request wasn't clear and they put us in two different buildings. We arrived late with my elderly mother and they didn't offer to show us our rooms even when they saw us heading off in the wrong direction.

A charming hotel set in an idealic spot in the middle of old town. Parking was convenient (located via boom gate on the left and before the hotel). A free minibar and a luxurious bed. Breakfast was fairly good - being a standard buffet with the standard selection of food. The staff were lovely as well. We wished we'd spent at least 2-3 nights a lovely Luneburg.

Breakfast was okay. Other than that everything was lovely.

The girl at reception (Charite???) was incredible! We stayed in the tower and it was like living a fairytale. Pity it was just an overnight stop. Would have liked a day extra in Lüneburg. The town itself is quite pretty and interesting. Underground parking was good and safe!

The gym was useable, but free weights would be nice. And a larger room. Only one, way too soft, pillow on the beds.

A modern room within an older building, with great views from the 5th floor. There is a good restaurant in the main building. Plenty of private parking available.

Part of a 'chain' of hotels occupying the centre of this beautiful town, we would have preferred a room in the main part of the building. The parking was very expensive.

The location is incredible. Right in the historic part overlooking the river and the city in historic buildings that have been renovated. It's so cool to stay in an old watermill where you can see the gigantic wooden beams in the hallways and the old double windows. Everything worth seeing is literally 5-15 minutes walk away.

Staff is nice but very young and it seemed there was never a manager there to help guide them. They definitely could be trained more in clearer communications with guest. That's on management. Also, the rooms are in historic buildings so it's important to make sure all the windows work properly and stay open properly. That wasn't the

I tried to book directly online, but received no confirmation from rhe hotwl. I tried calling the hotel in the evening and each time the person at the hotel put the phone down on me when they heard me soeaking english. This hapoened 5 times, I tried again in the morning and spoke to a very friendly and helpful gentleman who confirmed my booking.

Location is perfect and in town. There was parking too. Breakfast was really good and lots of variety. Our suite was lovely and very big. Would highly recommend

Pool was very cold and small. Not the hotel's fault but was noisy Saturday night.

Excellent location with beautiful sourroundings. Big and very comfortable room with view to the river. Nice breakfast with a broad variety of things to choose. The pool was a very nice extra. We would like to come back. Parking direct outside the hotel.
